Pretty interesting concept

Isis (MC) used to be a deity representing the world tree and creator of elves, before she was destroyed and rendered near powerless by an evil dragon. Using her remaining strength and time she decided to raise that dragons reincarnation into a true hero, knownas her adoptive daughter Nona.

Meanwhile the evil god Beacai, used to be a weak being that Isis had once saved from being killed in the past, that had grown tremendously powerful over time. Beacai only wishes for Isis, the person who had once saved... more>> her, to give her the same loving warmth and care that she has given to Nona.

The story does raise some questions about how subjective good and evil can be, with Beacai questioning if she's meant to die without being loved simply cause she was born as an "evil" being, which parallels Nona's evil dragon soul. Though to be fair her worshipers are blood crazy cultists and her own morals are quite twisted, though that's probably due to growing up without a maternal figure.

The story also has two main POV's following Isis and Beacai which is quite interesting as well as Nona and her hero party which personally is a bit more boring but necessary for the big payoff when the two groups finally encounter each other again.

It's also technically a genderbend/isekai but those aspects so far have hardly influenced the story at all.

Overall, definitely would recommend giving it a try to see if Isis will succeed in changing Beacai or if she'll be changed instead. <<less
