I'm glad I was able to read and watch both the novel and the drama. The novel focuses mainly on the two MCs and their love story however, the drama focused more on youth and friendship- of course, how can we forget the love stories between the two couples. I watched the cdrama first and was happy I could read the novel it was adapted from. While I do not mind the differences from the drama and novel I do feel like at times the novel is too fast paced and sudden. Their relationship, while sweet, sometimes felt rushed and forced.

While I still liked the novel, I can't say that I would love is as much as I do without watching the drama first.

It's a short sweet story. There's the right amount of funny and sweet. Heroine is very straightforward and resolute. I think it is worth to breeze through the read since it is really short.

a simple story, about a girl who is persistent about her love and how she can change a man who has low self-esteem (in his family) to find warmth within her. For him, she's like a rainbow and sunlight in gloomy bad days.

forget the flaws, I quite like this novel, it's worth your time because it's light and pretty sweet. But from this author, 《Secretly Secretly but Unable to Hide it》 is my favourite ♡

A word of advice for future readers of this book - disassociate yourself from the MC. Don't put yourself in her shoes, it is hard to relate to her thought process. She is funny and quirky and I totally adore her, don't get me wrong, but man the second hand embarrassment lol. In the initial chapters, it felt like peaking at a horror show between the fingers, but gradually I separated myself from the MC and accepted her for her quirkiness and then it all got a whole lot better.... more>> Her thought process is extremely unique (hence the name of the book). Everytime she is taking to ML, am bracing myself for what she would say because her thoughts and words hit me from the left field.

Anyway MC's quirkiness aside, I really enjoyed reading this book, very funny. The number of times ML becomes speechless is too many due to MC's antics. Loved the romance between the leads. Ahh... the snu snu scenes are pretty hot.

My reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is towards the end - in very last chapter or two, there was this un-needed overly dramatic but brief separation and I disliked that author chose to use jealousy to push ML towards making the move.

TLDR: Give it a try if you like FL pursuing ML type a story instead of admiring from afar. <<less

It's a straightforward high school into university romance.

It's really fluffy, I would've liked the relationship between him (ML) and his family to be explored more but that's just as someone interested in family dynamics.

If you're here for light-hearted fluffy romance, that's what you're gonna get.

It's not usual that I get to read novels where it's the ML that has the major character development pushing the story. The FL is hilarious (she lives up to the title), but after the first half, she's stayed the same (nothing wrong with this).
