In my opinion, this is a fun and fairly simple read, at least in the first part. As the protagonists evolve, the actions might take a more dramatic turn. Essentially, it is a story about starting from scratch and advancing through pure ambition, but also with a dash of luck.

The interaction between the protagonists is often funny, and the narrative flows at a sustained pace, with lots of action and no idle times.

The outcome will be interesting to watch: what level will the two manage to reach, and will the interaction between them change with Taotie's ability to take human form?

The story is a shallow system web novel. The MC has one of the worst personalities I've seen: he constantly complains and whines about his own system, steals vital resources from his ally and looks down on them for being angry, etc. You really root against the MC and want him to fail but the overpowered system and story pushes him into undeserved success.

The characters also constantly know things they shouldnt. They will go over how they can't communicate before reaching a certain level and then know each other's thoughts,... more>> or when guards are looking for someone the MC knows about them without ever having the chance to learn. <<less
