When Qiao Mian started her new job at a new company, she discovered that her boss was also her brand-new neighbor.

Soon after, bizarre things began to happen. She was plagued by recurring, vivid dreams of a massive python wrapping itself around her, dragging her into the depths of her bedsheets… On top of that, she could constantly feel a gaze lingering on her from behind, eyes that looked uncannily like the slitted pupils of a snake.

Meanwhile, her boss seemed increasingly invested in her, frequently knocking on her apartment door.
