MC transmigrated into his own novel as the childhood best friend of the Og!MC. However unlike other stories, the protagonist immediately recognised MC as an imposter and thinks that he possessed his bf's body. It's so funny to see him try to exorcise him every chance he gets while also begrudgingly hiding his secrets and protecting him cause he can't let his bff's body get harmed or be abandoned by his family (since the original owner was pretty much scorned by the family and was in a coma from an... more>> assassination attempt before MC possessed him). Meanwhile MC's dealing with a mysterious masked man inside his head, who originally planned to possess the body himself but failed because of MC possessing it first. Now the masked man is just playing games with MC, both helping and hindering him. MC is just trying to survive and thinking of saving the world from destruction using his knowledge from the novel he wrote.

The story started a bit slow (atleast for me) but got more and more interesting as I read. And MC's and the protag's dynamic is fun to read. The side characters are also interesting, such as his two older brothers, his servants, his cousin, and the protag's younger brothers and servant. They all have personality and charm and their own goals and stories. It really makes their interactions with MC very engaging.

MC's also got a self sacrificing streak, protecting others even at the cost of harming himself lol. But he's also really clever and has got a charming personality. I have grown fond of him just like how the original protag is also starting to like him. I think the story wouldn't be half as charming if it weren't for these traits of MC's.

I would actually rate the story between 4-4.5 stars but since the current rating of 3.5 feels a bit too low, I want to give the story a little boost with a 5 star rating. I think its worth a read, just try to stick along and the story will get interesting. <<less
