MC and ML only talk things out when they blow up in their faces. Like, I'm pretty sure their relationship would progress much faster if they just talked about their relationship status after they came back from their honeymoon. But this is a minor thing for me, people are not perfect, and talking about problems through your mouth is a thing that doesn't happen that often in novels anyway. What almost made me drop this novel is the whole ML trauma plot. For some reason his grandfather, with all of his power, couldn't just lock the villain away and then sue him later with MC's help, or make him confess by some other methods. No, that person could freely come and bother both MC and ML. Then the MC, who knew that he's the only light in ML's life, decided for some reason that he's the only one who can make the villain go to jail, and that he 100% won't be killed while doing it. Apparently, talking about it with his husband, planning things out and asking for his security help was too easy so he had to do everything alone just bc he worked as a bodyguard for 5 years. Such a dumb plot through and through, my head hurt from the s*upidity.
