I honestly don't know how to rate this novel, so I didn't rate it. I, however, would like to leave a word.

Like the author's other novel, Submit to Your Love, this one is also tumultuous, well written and realistic. The author is very talented, but I really hate the ML so much, hence my unwillingness to rate this. ML is a piece of sh*t on the first half of the novel. Whatever his reasons are, he still willingly sacrificed and hurt the MC. On the other hand, I love the... more>> FL for being so resolute and headstrong. I also love it when the characters I'm reading are also bookworms. Lol. But yeah, all I can say is, I love this because it is fiction, but in real life, ladies, when your supposedly other half

Anyway, I highly recommend this. The author is honestly one of the best Chinese modern romance authors I encountered, even if I don't like some of her characters. She reminds me of the Western fiction authors whom I loved to read.

Hahh so much emotional ride with this one. ML is a bastard at first but he atoned. It must be one of the most long journey chasing his wife back in whole novel series. He watched her got into two real relationships, my heart breaks for him, but he deserves it. I'm just happy he got his warm little padding to warm him now.

I adore Wen Di backbone. She waited long enough until me (as the reader) felt like YHY got enough punishment and want her to forgive him already.... more>> The author done a really great job, it's so bittersweet. My favorite part must be when he decided to spend new year on her town just to hope that they could meet.

His mother's heart ache for him and accompany him walking around. When they catch the glimpse of FL, ML was so excited that he rush to buy gloves for her (because FL did not bother to ever wear one. Everytime her hands cold she would put in on ML's neck) but then ML mother and ML watch Second ML put FL's hand on his pocket instead.

I loved that the MC did not turn back to the ML, who grovels to get back with her as soon as he realised that he loves her after she broke up with him. She was really invested in the relationship when he was with him and at the same time when he hurts her feelings she has a clean break with out looking back. She struggles to get over the relationship and is very reluctant to get back with the ML later even after so many years of him... more>> pursuing her. She says yes to him the second time after a very long consideration and confirming that he has changed. I liked the ML also because after he realised that he loves her, he goes to great lengths to get her back. Both the leads have lovable families which are supportive. <<less
