Basically the trope of trying to be a villain but everything you do is somehow actually good. And being very simple in the head, easily manipulated to think everything done is part of an even bigger evil plan.

The manipulator is not even trying to stop or make the MC do something else, she just say have fun and just come up with an explanation at the end of the day that the good deed is somehow part of the plan.

Other authors? This is how you use tropes. Stop fearing them and just write a story. And depending on the kind of story you write, feel free to use them heavily.

The story is pretty basic. Set in world with heroes and monsters, MC suddenly reincarnates? as a lab experiment of transfusing DNA of the "King". MC also seeks world dommination (it may be implied this is a instinctive desire, possible of "demon King") However MC is currently a adorable, gullible little girl. Which leads her to effectively be chuuni.

On her... more>> way out of the lab (which she mysteriously targets all the critical infrastructure while attacking at random), she saves a woman who was also experimented on, names her Evelyn and makes her into her first minion, her maid.

From there she begins to plot her new life of villainy. It is possible this story may have overarching plot that will gradually progress in the background. But generally this is a comedic slice of life style, adventure of the day story where MC attempts the latest act of villainy. Only to be thwarted by "coincidences" which end up making her misunderstood as a hero.

For example
Spoiler

she has a scheme to dye everyones expensive clothing black in a mall using a fountain. Only to end up saving people by dyeing a invisible monster that was hiding in the fountain black.

But every comedy needs ita straight man woman to really make things shine. And that is where Evelyn comes in. She's the expressionless maid who basically is raising MC. Who uses her intellect to subtly guide and manipulate MC. Whether it be in "villain" schemes, or just getting her to eat her veggies. It's 100% mom energy of getting her stubborn daughter to do the thing that is good for her. While she watches her daughter with amusement as she does her shenanigans.

Take this non spoiler example where she gives MC "special equipment" for her villain schemes (a kids high vis reflective vest) (reading below should give you the basic dynamic between MC and Evelyn

Spoiler

"Master, I've brought the special equipment needed for today's operation."

"What's that? I was expecting something like a laser gun or bombs... You want the great Grimoire to wear such a tacky thing?"

Unfazed by my reaction, Evelyn unfolded a fluorescent vest.

"This is the most powerful disguise tool in Korea. Wearing this allows access anywhere."

"Eh? Really? You won't be suspected wearing this? Is that possible?"

"It's optimal equipment for committing evil deeds. Anyone wearing a fluorescent vest is considered an official. You can freely enter construction sites, government offices, even concert venues."

I was skeptical, but Evelyn's words were always right.

I put on the vest and it fit perfectly.

"This will make my plan even more perfect! I'm off then!"

I immediately burst out the door.

I thought I heard Evelyn sigh behind me, but I had no time to worry about that.

Today, without fail! Absolutely! The whole world will kneel before my wickedness!

[collapse]

All in all this is a amusing fun story watching the MC fail upwards. Helping others out with their problems, while becoming inadvertently heroic. I look forward to the presumed chapter we learn a bit more about MC and Eves powers, as it could add a underlayer to the coincidences which occur. <<less

The typical story of a villain, trying to do villain things, but ends up being a sweetheart in the end. You'll probably predict most of what's going to happen before reading it (of course, I'm only at the seventh chapter, but the story format is well known).

One thing to note about this story is that it's not a typical "reality bends to make the MC look good" type. Our Main character is, *genuinely*, a little sweetheart with a bad case of Chuunibyou. She was originally meant to be the worst... more>> villain, but was raised well by a good adopted mother (who our MC considers a servant).

The story also seems to have a superhero background for the story. Being a creature originally meant to be the worst villain, our Main character has the strongest magic. She's strong, despite her small package, making everything a minor inconvenience for her.

If you want a happy, fluffy, slice of life story featuring a Chuunibyou, you'll probably like this story. It's not a masterpiece, but it's good for what it does and doesn't act ashamed of it. <<less
