Wu Nan hates every Alpha in this world. They are arrogant, reckless, and unable to control their pheromones like dogs in heat. The Alphas at his high school are the absolute worst, and the ringleader of them all is his arch-rival, Bian Yueze.

Just before the new semester, Wu Nan visited a temple with his family to pray for one thing: that Bian Yueze would stay as far away from him as possible. Unfortunately, fate had other plans; the two got into a massive, fiery fight on the very first day of school.

That night, Wu Nan had a dream. In it, the two were on a date. Bian Yueze stood in his way, grabbing his hand to stop him from leaving, his rebellious brows lowered as he pleaded, “Baby, I shouldn’t have been late for our date. It’s my fault. Don’t be mad, okay?”

Wu Nan woke up in a cold sweat, repulsed. What a hellish nightmare!

But this “date” kept playing out like a TV series every time he closed his eyes. Wu Nan tried everything to stop it praying to every god, hiring exorcists, and even visiting a psychiatrist but to no avail.

Gradually, he realized that Bian Yueze was having the same dreams. The only difference was that Bian Yueze had no idea that the “sweet Omega baby” in his dreams was actually his arch-nemesis, Wu Nan.

Wu Nan decided to turn the tables. He started taking revenge by being as demanding as possible in their shared dreams making Bian Yueze fold 999 paper cranes, forcing him to ride his bike to three subway stations just to queue for two hours for a trending milk tea, and finding every way imaginable to push him to his limits.

He grew more and more adept at this petty revenge, never realizing that the way Bian Yueze looked at him during the day was beginning to change.

“Do you think Wu-shen and the school bully are getting along better? I went to ask Wu-shen about a physics problem yesterday, and he smelled like the bully’s pheromones. He still does today.”

“Huh? No way, right? Maybe they just accidentally got it on them from fighting?”

The footsteps in the hallway faded as the gossiping students walked away.

Inside the infirmary, the tall, imposing Bian Yueze pinned Wu Nan’s waist from behind, leaning down to whisper with a smirk, “Baby, did you hear that? They think we’re getting along better.”

Wu Nan panted and turned his face away. His neck was porcelain white and slender, and a fresh, damp, crimson bite mark sat right over the gland that had only recently begun to emit his Omega scent.
