When Kusuda chooses a troubled former actor as the face of his brand, he never expects to be pulled into a complicated and unpredictable connection. What begins as a professional collaboration soon spirals into something more intense, unsettling, and deeply personal. As the boundaries blur between obligation, manipulation, and genuine emotion, Kusuda finds himself navigating a situation far beyond his control. A gripping, emotionally charged spin-off from the COLD series.

COLD HEART in TOKYO was an emotional rollercoaster I wasn’t quite prepared for—and that’s what made it so compelling. It starts off deceptively quiet, almost mundane, with Kusuda—a deeply average man just trying to live his life—getting swept into something far bigger and more intense than he ever asked for. At the center of it all is Akizawa, a former child actor with overwhelming emotions and no brakes.

The dynamic between them is jagged and painful, often uncomfortable, but it’s also what makes the story impossible to put down. This isn’t... more>> a soft or sweet romance. It’s about obsession, fear, longing, and what happens when two people are drawn together for all the wrong reasons—but can’t seem to let go.

What struck me most was how real it all felt. The panic, the denial, the way Kusuda lies to himself and everyone else just to get through the day—it’s frustrating, but also deeply human. And Akizawa? He’s terrifying, ridiculous, and somehow heartbreaking all at once.

If you’re looking for a beautiful disaster of a love story that isn’t afraid to get ugly, Cold Heart in TOKYO delivers. <<less
