What a sweet and heartwarming stories. I love it especially because ML is different from other romance stories. He's not extremely handsome or honorary student or a school idol. Rather he's a bit plump with ordinary look, otaku maniac, and also one of the most hated student in the school. But he has a warm heart and always considerate towards others (if it's in another story, maybe he will be friendzoned because he's just too nice).

On the other hand, MC is beautiful but a bit timid and always bullied by... more>> her classmates. She's deceived and forced to date ML. Although uncomfortable at first, she finds that ML is different from what her classmates said about him and slowly she starts to fall in love with him.

As for the ending, relax, it doesn't have a "tragedy" tag so happy ending is guaranteed. But still, my heart keep melting from the sweetness after reading the epilogue. And there's an extra about the story from ML POV too. Anyway, I really recommend this story to everyone. <<less

I just can't stand the FL.

Although I'd consider the way she reacts to situations realistic and believable, I really can't stand her one bit.

She is indecisive, cowardly and unable to stand up for herself throughout the entire series. She constantly - at every turn - makes the worst possible decision, to then continue to be unable to bear the consequences of her actions and rely on others to fix her mistakes. Honestly, the way she handles her wrongdoings is plain pathetic, and the way she keeps putting herself first in... more>> every, yes every, situation - even when she is clearly hurting the ones she supposedly holds dearly - disgusts me.

Her nature doesn't change during the progression of the story either. At the end of the novel she is still evenly as pathetic and non-proactive as in the beginning. There is literally nothing you could take away from this story.

I'm convinced this was written by a guy who has never properly conversed with a female before, because it's so obvious that the FL is based on the author's wish-fulfillment, imaginary girlfriend who is completely dependent on him and can't accomplish anything without him. Don't waste your time, don't read this. <<less

Very wholesome, if you're looking for something sweet but not exactly light, look no further. The plot isn't all rainbows and sunshine but it does have its moments, and that juxtaposition makes the wholesome parts stand out more. Definitely worth reading this short series

I read both manga and LN and I don't think you miss anything if you just read the manga; you get the additional illustrations after all.

The LN has additional thoughts of the FMC, like her reactions when she overheard the guy talking about having s*x with her during a winter night; how she was worried about catching a cold. In the manga we only saw this "Awawawa" face as she overheard the guy's fantasies, lol

Someone made the comment about hating the FMC's choices.

Spoiler

Personally speaking, the "drama-part" of this novel felt like total escalation, where she indeed lashed out onto everyone who was important to her. I think that scene made sense considering the fact that she had keeping it a secret that she was bullied all the time and how she then even ended up collapsing due to the accumulated stress.
