Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. When Xiao Muyu was halfway through writing her novel, the apocalypse hit, and the story was left unfinished. While those outside the story struggled for survival, time for the characters inside remained frozen during a heavy snowfall. Day after day, they sat withered before a ruined temple, staring into the endless wind and snow.
Later, Xiao Muyu died in the apocalypse. When she woke up again, she was standing amidst pure white snow, facing the protagonist she had created.
If I had a second chance, I definitely wouldn’t write a large-scale high-fantasy cultivation novel. I’d choose a goofy, sweet campus rom-com instead, Xiao Muyu thought to herself.
Q: What’s worse than transmigrating into your own novel?
A: Transmigrating as minor cannon fodder.
Q: What’s worse than transmigrating as cannon fodder?
A: The protagonist going wildly OOC (Out of Character) and claiming to be in love with you.
The protagonist of the story is the Princess of the Xuefu Kingdom—the first female emperor in history and the only legend to ascend through the “Sovereign’s Path.” She possessed every trait a ruler should have: she was cold, indifferent, ambitious, and possessed maxed-out intelligence and combat power. Her heart and mind were solely focused on her empire.
Love? It simply didn’t exist.
However, when Xiao Muyu transmigrated as the Saintess of the Temple (a puppet for the rulers), she opened her eyes only to be dragged by the Princess to the old Emperor’s sickbed.
The Princess said: “I want to marry her.”
The Emperor bolted upright: “Your father forbids it!”
The Princess thought for a moment: “I can marry into her family instead.”
Xiao Muyu: “…”
To return the “cool, domineering future Empress” to normal, Xiao Muyu took on multiple roles—civil official, military general, and virtuous concubine—all to pull the “love-brain” infected Princess back to the righteous path.
Xiao Muyu: “Looking at these heroes competing for hegemony and dividing the world, don’t you feel a grand ambition to conquer it all?”
The Princess: “No. I only want to conquer you.”
Xiao Muyu: “…You’re OOC, babe.”
While Xiao Muyu was worried sick, she failed to notice the Princess’s devoted gaze. Just as she didn’t know that during those days of endless snow, the Princess sat alone in the cold, and the only thing at the end of her gaze was the God who created her.
She made a wish while time was frozen: I don’t want this world that can be controlled at will; I only want the person who accompanied me through the vast loneliness.
When time began to flow again, Xiao Muyu appeared before her. The Princess grabbed her hand and would never let go, even in death.
