After ten years of struggle, at twenty-seven, she finally won the crown of Best Actress. Standing on the award stage, before she even had the chance to deliver her acceptance speech, a chandelier suddenly fell and killed her.
When she opened her eyes again, Huo Qingzhuo discovered that she had transmigrated into a script she once rejected—a girls’ love drama—becoming the early-dead, vicious supporting character who shared her name.
The original story was a campus romance about a wayward girl reforming her ways. The protagonist, Shen Junfu, was a notorious playgirl, flitting from one romance to another, leaving heartbreak in her wake. Eventually, she met her destined true love, Wei Qingqing, and was transformed—abandoning her “fish pond” of lovers and staging a dramatic “chasing-wife crematorium” arc.
The original character Huo Qingzhuo was Shen Junfu’s last girlfriend before her reformation. Timid and insecure, she loved Shen Junfu desperately, abandoning her self-respect. But when Wei Qingqing transferred to their school, Shen Junfu instantly shifted her affections, heartlessly breaking up with Huo despite her tearful pleas. From then on, the original Huo grew to hate Wei Qingqing, embarking on a self-destructive path as the vicious supporting role.
Recalling how the original character died tragically—kidnapped in place of Wei Qingqing and killed by accident—Huo Qingzhuo sighed deeply. She immediately decided to break up with the protagonist to secure her own safety, then return to her acting career. After all, her Best Actress trophy hadn’t even warmed in her hands yet.
Unexpectedly, her very first step was blocked by the world’s timeline. The breakup failed, and instead, she ended up in a car accident.
Lying in the hospital bed, Huo Qingzhuo looked at the woman keeping vigil beside her. Huo Qingzhuo: “Sister, how about giving me a chance?”
Later, Huo Qingzhuo watched her arrogant ex-girlfriend obediently stand before that “sister” and call out— “Mom…”
Huo Qingzhuo: “Wow… shocking!”
One-sentence Summary: “Good girl, come here, call me little mom.”
Theme: Strive tirelessly for your dreams and never give up.
