A woman who doesn’t get passionate about love.

A man who doesn’t get passionate about love.

A man and a woman who don’t get passionate, even after long periods of dating, have fatefully met.

~~~~~
“What kind of man?”
“A man who can shine brightly just for one day by my side. Why do you ask? Are you going to introduce someone?”
“If possible. What kind of man exactly are you looking for?”
“A man who shines brightly but isn’t clingy.”
Da-hee gave a neat smile. The man tilted his head as if asking for more explanation. At the same time, his soft hair gently fell forward. He was truly a dazzling man.
“A man who doesn’t believe in love, and even if he did, wouldn’t easily succumb to it. Is there anyone like that around?”
“Yes.”
At the man’s words, Da Hee’s eyes narrowed with interest. The man before her perfectly matched the physical criteria she desired. It was then that she thought, if such a man is introducing someone, they must be trustworthy.
“Me.”
The man smiled sensually.
It was a really a Good short story... The characters were not overly sweet but still there was a lingering sweetness... Even though at the end of the story ML appeared to love FL More than FL loved ml, but I believe with time, they both will love each other with the same intensity.... Really Worth your time...
Lastly, I want to thank the translator and writer for this amazing work...
Really recommend reading this. I read it in one go and felt sad when it was over. Well, can't help since it's a short story. The story is really calm, and peaceful, but unexpectedly, it gives me butterflies leaving a lingering aftertaste. I can't express it eloquently, but it's definitely worth your time. Not quite sure if this would be everyone's cup of tea, but please give it a read. It would definitely make a good read for a relaxing weekends!!
It was an easy quick read! Super sweet and very different from the usual korean romance webnovels. It was tranquil with not much drama. I can't say that it was superficial, but it certainly had a very casual tone to it. It wasn't too deeply overwrought with sentiments despite the main characters' traumas with past relationships.
brilliant. It's a mature adult romance that gently explores how people have different styles of loving and different ways to express their love. Personally I feel that it touches on aromanticism and asexuality, although not directly, and I'm always down for some good queer representation.
to the reviewer who thinks ML is more in love, we saw more of his POV and he certainly agonised over it more but FL loves him too. Just differently.
the translator does a wonderful job with crafting imagery with words and create an emotional mood. Don't... more>> read it for the smut though, it's alright. <<less
This was so good!!! I loved how author used temperature to express woohyun and dahee's love. I relate to dahee so much! In my head, she slowly matches up to woohyun's temperature as years go by. This is a nice, warm read and amazing as always from the author who wrote "The Reason We Broke Up", and "Even If It's Not Love."
I actually enjoyed this short story, it was everything I like in a modern romance book, mature, calm read with some spice and main characters that I can understand/relate to. Highly recommend if you read and liked "the reason we broke up" or "burn out". My only wish would be for it to be longer but it's short story format also added to its appeal. Also shout out to the translator, well done translation/site that enhanced the reading experience.
Spectacular. Give me 14 of them right now.
I genuinely dislike that this is a short story. There’s so much more to explore when it comes to the main couple. My temp is running on 40 degrees because of Da Hee and Woo Hyun.
Some may find Da Hee’s temperament difficult, but I’ve never identified myself in character more than I have with Da Hee. I found her excess in rationality and calm demeanor so cute and refreshing mainly due in part to the tiring oversaturation of unstable female leads out there.... more>> Her personality is as cozy as her cafe and bless Woo Hyun for his perseverance, patience, and persistence. He learned how she loved and made sure to go at her pace. An absolute gem of a man and the most perfect match for the adorable Da Hee.
Also, what happened to the cactus???? I need to knowwww! <<less
