Ji Yan is s*upid. I like that in a man.

Ernis and Willacliff are actually really cute. I really like that Willacliff has been stalki- I mean, keeping his crush safe for so long. I love that Harris and Kilt both spill all the beans but Ernis never realizes his hubby’s obsessively possessive of him. They are a wonderful match, Ernis wants to stay inside all day and read books and look at his husband and Willacliff wants Ernis to stay inside all day and read books and look (only) at him. I think Ernis is kind of silly. I think Willacliff is absurdly silly. Harris is wonderful. So many of the side characters are extremely loveable, despite not being shown for long. ... more>>

Honestly though, the lengths Willacliff went to to get his man are amazing. Small child met an even smaller child and immediately told everyone that he was going to marry that smaller child. He definitely made one of those wedding scrapbooks that young women make that portray their ideal wedding ideas. He made it as a small child and has only been adding onto it since, thus why it has expanded to fifteen volumes by the time Ernis actually marries him. Willacliff is so funny to me, he’s such a wolf in puppy-dog’s clothing slowly devouring a kitten who is distracted playing with yarn and doesn’t actually know that wolves exist. Also, Willacliff remembered Ernis’ favourite book and he let Ernis dress masculinely because dressing femininely made Ernis uncomfortable and he let Ernis take walks around the castle even as he was plotting how to trap him in his room and never let him leave and he almost point-blank tells Ernis how weird and offputting and strange he is, but only during s*x so Ernis will be too distracted to understand.
