    Did you try "legend of the sun knight"?

    Also have you tried "World domination system" or "Living as a mage in a magic academy"

      I'll check out legend of the sun knight! I think I've read world domination system and started living as a mage in a magic academy but it was kinda corny at the beginning. Does it get better?

      @gunsBlazing Lol yeah reading novels is kinda like chasing a high. Reading Damn Family and a Warrior's Ballad back to back has killed me. Can't find ANYTHING over like 7 different sites. It's a rip :(

      @gunsBlazing They're really good. Warrior's Ballad was surprisingly good. I keep trying to find more but I don't know if it's the mood I'm in or nothing is hitting, but I'm reading through the Duke's Son Escapes to the Military and it just...isn't doing it for me :/

      @blankedout Duke's Son was ok, it was'nt all that great.

      It had started with a good premise, but it just fell off for me.

    Best list I've soon thus far.

    A lot of novel gems are missing but this was a refreshing list with novels that aren't that famous.

    And best of all theres no tr*shy overrated novel with a high rating.

      @blankedout  For starters "Reverend Insanity"; "Mushoku Tensei"; "My Death Flags Show no Sign Of Ending"; "The World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs" and I'd probably find more if I tried.

      Mostly though... I think that with your refined taste for novels "Reverend Insanity"  should've been on the list

      @God Emorly I don't put JP novels on my lists. Also, I find RI really difficult to read. The novel drags on and on and on and on without feeling like it does anywhere. When I've tried to read (and believe me, I've tried) the writing style feels so...3rd person almost. Like I can't picture myself in the story, it feels like I'm watching a character on a board game if that makes sense. I can't emotionally connect with the story, so subjectively I think it's not a novel for me.

      @God Emorly Also, as I've said in another comment, most CN novels don't portray drama in the way I can emotionally connect with and therefore don't get put on my list outside of a select few.

      @blankedout Yeah... RI is kinda rough but based on your recommended novels I believe it could become one of your favourites.

      While it's been quite a long time since I've read it and it's thematic conclusion is pretty...well let's just say wrong and evil.

      The world it portrays from a thematic view is truly amazing, the concept of one being able to rule them all not only to sound cool as in every other OP fantasy novel....but taken to the level of being almost a law of that world is unlike anything I've read before or afterwards. (Except maybe Shadow s*ave or LOTM which are good in different ways) 

      I guess I'm just ranting about RI nowclear.png

      @God Emorly Kidnapped Dragons was a good read.

      It was suprisingly fun for a book i had a hard time getting into.

      I attempted to read the book at least 3 times before finally completing it.

      Because the novel gets bad the longer you read, barely even feels coherent. It's more like a B but since it's overhyped to the moon, I decided to be inflammatory and put it F.

      Yep! I just prefer korean novels more. I used to read a lot of wuxia but most CN novels I've read suck at portraying drama correctly. LOTM was unique in that aspect.
