It is so bittersweet that it’s almost angsty, but in the end all the unrequited love did pay off and the ending was so sweet and beautiful.             And yes it’s in omega-verse so there is m/preg (but not descriptive and only mentioned in the end)                  <<less

The description  made it seem like a really messed up g*ooming story which is simply NOT TRUE. While the MC is ML’s “adopted” son in name, their age gap is only about 10 years apart and their relationship feels more sibling/friends like rather than father/son dynamic. ... more>>

 MC is a bratty delinquent orphan who got sold to the mafia boss (ML) as a boy-toy by his new-found bio-family and ML’s uncle (absolute scumbags). However ML isn’t interested in him initially (cos he’s like 15???), and declared to adopt him (as a “jokes on you” to his uncle and MC’s family), and basically took MC in as a ward. Eventually MC fell in love with the ML first as he gets older and after some turbulence it’s a happily ever after.

MC does try to roofie ML for keeping him waiting (which is wrong by all means), but in the end it was consented by both parties (cos ML was equally h**ny).

 Overall it’s a sweet and sour short story that’s fun to read.  <<less

Another one of my favourite KBQ stories! This seems like your average angsty dog-blood drama on the exterior, with a horrible scum MC (gong/seme) and a... more>> poor ML (shou/uke) who seems to be weak, loving, and gentle. But in reality, with the plot twist (which wasn’t even hidden that well, the hints are quite obvious), all of the angst and sorrows become comedic on a re-read (if you really consider the thoughts of the “villain” during the story). And at the end, I’m not even mad at MC anymore because ML played him so well. Overall it’s a super fun story to read with bittersweetness and a happy ending. <<less

I think the author portrayed the loneliness MC felt really well, as someone who had moved several schools in my youth and had trouble fitting in, I found myself really empathising with the MC and disliked ML for all the right reasons. However there is character development on ML’s part, he manage to overcome his bias and tried to make up for his faults. So while ML’s deception and borderline-bullying behaviour can’t be overlooked, the happy ending was acceptable.  <<less

This one is very bittersweet and sweet at the same time. I really adore the MC, he is straight forward, stubborn, and just so adorable.... more>> And I liked that the author showed the struggles MC faced as an autistic person and his love and s*xual needs are just as valid as anyone else in the world. And while ML can be a little bit pushy sometimes, their relationship felt wholesome and sweet, and the their separation in the middle wasn’t melodramatic dog-blood neither, but rather realistic and bittersweet. The perfect fluffy slice-of-life! There is no real “plot” plot but just simply wholesome sweetness with some light hint of bittersweetness.

pretty good medium length slice of life novel that’s overall lighthearted and no extensive drama. The banter between the MC and ML are really fun... more>> to read, and despite their work positions as boss x secretary, there isn’t much of a power imbalance as MC is very level-headed and capable, while ML is the lazy designer boss who rely on MC for heavily in life and work.  <<less

Medium length novel that is quite fun to read. While the relationship started off on the wrong foot, and ML started out as a bit... more>> of an a**hole, it does turns into a more sweet and heart-felt romance with a happy ending. Plus MC is absolutely hilarious and ML gets better once you get to know him. Not too angsty but does include the darker side of the show biz.  <<less
