somewhat slow-paced but it’s a fun story. author rly included all the fantasy tropes in one (regression, transmigration, reincarnation, game system, etc.) the familial relationship has a high influence over the story. the worldview was indeed kinda vast and complicated that it might be hard to comprehend for some. it’s like there were some fluctuations in the events that were happening. what happens in the past chapters has a significant connection over the later chapters. no unnecessary chapters or what. although it has its clichés, the author managed to make it distinct from the rest. i even had to reread this to take notes. after all, i eat stuff like this twice... more>>

not much wow factor for me tbh. man i expected much bc of the reviews. still, it's a decent read. this one is rly slow-paced, it’s all abt politics, magic, and war. anw in part 2 (chapters 500+) onwards it got better (?). i almost dropped this one bc the chapters were often draggy, there were plot holes that just threw me off. the writing style wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t great either… some scenes were just too flat. but one thing i like abt this novel is that the author doesn't hesitate to discard a prominent character lol plus the mc is pretty likable since he doesn’t get swayed easily and sticks to... more>> his convictions
