Binge read this unless you actually want REAL romance or any actual logic. This is separated into arcs with a different love interest per arc. Typically the target interest is so scummy that you will favor the moment they get mentally screwed over by the mc. I, myself, have never come to pity any of the scum MLs when they get screwed over. Well, the mc is actually a scum gong himself, but he’s playing the shou role b/c of the system. Every time I read an arc and see the scum gong, I say, “What the f*ck is wrong with you? Imao, 7 chapters later and you’ll ask yourself why the shou hates you.”... more>> ಠ_ಠ I kid you not, this was from the worst gong so far: “I’ve broken your wings; I’ve stripped you of your dignity, freedom, integrity; I’ve destroyed everything you’re proud of… even when you’re in the darkest abyss of despair, will you be able to preserve the hope in your heart?...my beautiful s*ave.” ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) And then they start complaining about how the shou hates them when they literally were the ones who gave a reason for the shou to be salty about.

The gong/top is hot scum—of course he is. Truly, there’s no fixing to the relationship. The ML never lets go of the MC even after the MC snaps and dips the sh*t out. The novel’s perfectly short as it puts more depth in the MC than the ML. While the ML does apologize for the cheating, he gets frustrated over MC’s stubbornness to move on and that in itself is a big no no. It’s extremely gratifying for readers when the ML realizes he might lose MC. The ML has the I-did-no-wrong-its-all-in-the-past-let-it-go attitude and never really loses that. <<less
