Personally my favorite webnovel, though I admit it's definitely a bias to favorite tropes and the fact I've been following it for a while. If you like fantasy settings with magic and etc, you wouldn't dislike this novel at the very least. 

The protagonist is fun and I personally enjoy how he's written. I wouldn't considered him overpowered as far as protagonists usually are, and he does adequately use and think through knowledge he gains from traveling from an alternate future. I do recommend at least trying to read it at least once. It's all in all a charming novel, and it's worth it even if it's on permanent hiatus. I promise it's worth it, it has atmosphere, and all the thrilling parts of kingdom politics a lot of novels lack. 

Notes:The TL is good! Some of the dialogue can be roundabout but that is likely due to the nature of the novel itself.  <<less

This one can be a bit of a chore to read, as it tends to be a little repetitive after a while, but it's a genuinely fun read! The world building is interesting and can be thought of cheesy depending on who is reading, but I think its generally worth it. I don't think you should read it if you're someone who needs to be heavily invested in the characters to read a novel. I think it's something you should get into because of the worldbuilding and etc. Not to say the characters are bad, but there certainly is a difference between the characters here than most other character-driven novels. ... more>>

I don't think the protagonist is bad by any means, he's just a bit of a s*ave to the narration? Like a lot of the time there is less personality and more like you're reading a strategy guide instead. He will often narrate things like: The wise choice, the best choice, the history, and etc. But he does have a personality and can be a bit funny at times, so don't fret too hard if you are deterred by this. I just feel like it should be clear that it's not going to be for some people.

Also don't worry about it being too much. It's definitely funny in some places, though don't expect to laugh out loud or anything. Though, maybe I'm wrong but the comedy tag feels like it's mostly for the premise and not the story? <<less

While the first two are a little more heavy on the politics side of things, this one is definitely more light-hearted, so it's going to... more>> be ranked lower than novels that I think it's better than, simply for the sake of recommendation. It's still good and does get into the details of the worldbuilding and etc, but the protagonist isn't that focused on it. This may change as the story goes on, so don't be deterred because of me. <<less
