100 Most Popular BLs on Novel Updates
These novels are ranked according to the amount of readers they have. If you're suprised by the ranking, then trust me, I'm also suprised to begin with lmao. I thought some novels, such as 2ha and Silent Reading (because I hear about them EVERYWHERE), would rank a bit higher but the number of readers said otherwise.
Not sure about Silent Reading, but in 2ha's case I believe it could be because, compared to other higher-ranked novels (like The Legendary Master's Wife, Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil etc etc), it's pretty new and once its popularity sky-rocketed, it got published with eng translations and the fan translation was removed, so about 40% of readers of this novel probably bought the novel instead of reading it on NU — which is why they didn't add it to their reading list and those readers weren't counted.

A random question for those who came across this list: how many novels out of this list have you read (or are reading) so far?
Curious since I'm both highkey suprised and lowkey disappointed after realising that I haven't read that many of them, I really thought it'll be more but... I've read just 11

The rest is either in wait list or just not interested. Suffice to say, I have contact with most of them. But there are a lot of my favorites not included in here lol.
I do have to say it is ashame how these are determined by number of readers. So many other good novels, IMO, get missed. I wonder if someone removes from reading list after reading if that decreases the number of readers count. I only ask because I noticed some of the ones I read and really enjoyed which I added to my list similar to this one, but removed from reading list, are rated higher than some of the ones I have read, and still enjoyed, that have higher number of readers, but I still also removed from my reading list. No clue if I am making any sense here. LOL

Don't get me wrong, I do still like your list. It was one way I would not have considered searching for more to read. You definitely gave me more to consider.
Some of the ones I thought would be on your list just barely missed the mark.
@Endofighter Ah wait, I didn't take it wrong, I'm sorry if my reply came across like that. I'm not the best at expressing myself with words due to my dyslexia and English not being my first language. I completely understood that you was merely talking about how it's a pity that some great novels, despite having many readers, didn't get counted because they weren't added in people's reading list, and I 100% agree with this. I also wish NU had a feature to accurately tell what novels are most popular, the 'in my defence' part was just me saying that there isn't such a feature yet so I was a bit helpless while making this list.
