A unique take from the genre. The gripes I have with the balance of scenes for the girls can be somewhat justified when we take it their values of affection/dependency to the original protagonist of the game world. It's honestly eerie how the harem feels so much worse and artificial than the natural end for our MC when he ends up with best girl in the final extras.
