how do i even rate this novel... it's been a while since i read it, but shen qiao and yan wushi have had such an... more>> impact on me. seriously, i would put this with 2ha and mdzs in the "you need to read this if you like this genre" pile. shen qiao is such a well written character. in my opinion, he's never one to view situations as black and white... one of the things that had the most significance to me was that he was willing to kill someone if it was for the greater good unlike characters such as batman. this seems like such a s*upid comparison to make but shen qiao is so good to a fault you wouldn't expect him to be able to "lower himself" to killing someone, but it just makes so much sense that he will nip something in the bud to prevent trouble in the future!!! love him!!! 5/5 <<less
