((First off, I want to say that I only made this account NOW because my problems with this story is frustrating me to no end and I ned SOMEWHERE to vent my frustrations. I know there are a lot of other stories out there that are more problematic than this, but this story just irritates me so much, you don't know. Will contain some spoilers obviously, although it's just me complaining about how certain things went down in this story.

Let's begin with the male lead.

The male lead is tr*sh, a hypocrite, a b*stard, a c*nt, and I want to punch his wee wee until it's nothing but a useless deflated flab of meat, and specifically until his waist bone disintegrates into the f*cking shadow realm so that he cant move his hips anymore.

There was this one specific scene that made me snap and temporarily drop this story, and it was a highly, HIGHLY irrelevant scene which included mentions of it being pretty much r*pe. The story would've gone on a bit more DECENTLY if it weren't there in the FIRST PLACE but NOOOOOOO the author had to go in and MAKE HIM EVEN WORSE THAN HE ALREADY WAS and here you might be saying "oh you're supposed to think the ML is bad you're supposed to hate the ML it's good writing that he's that way" NO. THE AUTHOR DID NOT. NEED. TO MAKE THE MALE LEAD THAT BAD TO THAT EXTENT. AT THIS POINT, IT'S HIGHLY UNNECESSARY HOW THE MALE LEAD IS WRITTEN. IT'S NOT EVEN GOOD IT DOESN'T EVEN "define" THE ML'S ROLE IN THIS STORY ANYMORE IT'S JUST HIGHLY UNNECESSARY. WHAT MAKES THIS EVEN WORSE IS THAT THE AUTHOR OR ML TRIED JUSTIFYING HIS ACTIONS LIKE NO. NO. YOU CANNOT JUSTIFY CHEATING, YOU CANNOT JUSTIFY CHEATING, NOT WITH SUCH A LOUSY EXCUSE AS THE ONE MENTIONED IN THE STORY. NO. NO.

The MC is meh. Irritated me how unrealistic yet realistic his character was. Like I can understand the MC but like, I just can't with him. He's terrible. This story would have been shorter if he'd confessed to the male lead about his illness in the first place. Hiding your illness just to not make your lover sad? I want to f*cking bash the MC's head onto a hot steaming plate of freshly removed from the oven apple pie so that the heat sticks to his skin and hopefully seep into his brain and activate all the inactive neurons in there or whatever, if he even has any.

The doctor/second male lead was not even gonna lie was MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER. I LOVED HIM SO MUCH. Emphasis on the "-ed". HE CARES SO MUCH FOR THE MC AND SHOWS CONCERN WHEN THE ML DIDNT. HE HAS SOME F*CKING BRAIN ACTIVITY AT LEAST UNLIKE THE FIRST TWO CHARACTERS. Until... the "love" plot came. Now I'm not saying that I had anything against him falling for the MC, in fact I was perfectly fine with how he fell for the MC AT FIRST because it added a teeny weeny itsy bit to the bullsh*t angst factors in this story until the author went ahead and RUINED the SML's character. BRO. I LOVED THE DOCTOR SO MUCH HOW COULD YOU, AUTHOR???? THE DOCTOR WAS THE ONLY DECENT CHARACTER HOW COULD YOU?

It's only morally correct to NOT chase after someone who's already taken. The doctor was aware of the MC's relationship and yet he still went ahead and chased after the MC and f*cking tried to initiate a make-out session WITHOUT CONSENT. I AM SO PISSED. I LOVED THE DOCTOR'S CHARACTER SO MUCH HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT KEPT ME GOING IN THIS STORY, THE ONLY ONE THAT KEPT ME GLAD THAT I CONTINUED THIS STORY BECAUSE HE WAS THAT F*CKING GOOD BUT THE AUTHOR I I I

God, I can never forget how f*cking terrible that ending was. This story wants you to read it like a dumbf*ck, I swear. It does NOT want you to register AT ALL how f*cking terrible it is. <<less

I have no proper words to explain how terrible this is. Repetitive, abusive, ugh. I purposefully came here for the drama and the angst and torment,... more>> but my goodness, did it not handle it the way I expected it would. I expected some creativity and more deviation from just one singular source of trauma and angst. Literally, the whole d*mned story revolves around r*pe. Oh and, the arcs? All the same, it’s just the environment that make a change. Whatever, if you like abusive, repetitive and uncreative stories then go ahead. That’s literally the whole concept of this story. What makes this worse is that the author actually has a good knack for writing depressing scenes. If only they were concluded well enough. <<less
