This is a cultivation fantasy novel with in-depth worldbuilding and lots of powering-ups. It's that kind of self-indulgent novel where the MC and ML constantly face challenges but never loses and instead only continue to grow stronger and stronger! I originally was hesitant about reading this, and at one point, I even considered stopping (at the 200-chapter mark, since at that point, the original plotline was all wrapped up), but I'm glad I read this till the end! It's a very satisfying read~ I ended up being very fond of the main CP but what I definitely loved most was the setting! The story focuses mainly on the growth of the main CP -- though their journey is more of a 'strong-to-stronger' journey rather than the usual 'weak-to-strong.' There is a big focus on exploring alchemy and martial arts, making for a really detailed setting. But, the fast-pacing does mean that a lot of things gets pushed aside rather quickly. I enjoyed it a lot! But the CG translation is far from finished and the MTL kind of sucks the fun out of everything T.T so I've decided to shelve it for now! 4/5!!! [Rebirth, Cultivation, Poor-to-Rich] This is quite a fun level-up/poor-to-rich novel! I didn't know it existed until now so I was pretty surprised. It kind of has the vibe of "I Have Medicine" and "Legendary Master's Wife" but mainly in that the characters constantly work their way up the cultivation ladder with golden fingers that shock the world. The unique aspect here is that the MC and ML start off in the human world -- Modern Day China -- where the resources couldn't be any more baren. I think that the story was best during this arc but that could be because my comprehension dropped a bit after the TL was dropped.... more>>

The tone of the novel is very humorous, and you have a very snarky and narcissistic genius for an MC and a cold but warm-hearted ML. Things do get repetitive after a while (the pattern of making money and improving is very repetitive) but if you enjoy that kind of development and you're just looking for a casual read to spend time on, then this is definitely worth a try!

I didn't finish it mainly because of the MTL quality. As more and more terms and names are introduced, it got a bit difficult to understand T.T Arc 2 (cultivation-world) is still pretty understandable if you're used to MTL. However, Arc 3 (immortal-cultivation world) is not as good. I can only hope that another TL-er will pick up the novel one day ;-; <<less

[Transmigration, Xuanhuan, Cultivation, Weak-to-Strong] I was expecting this novel to be more ridiculous, especially with the cover and the fact that it’s a Flying Lines TL, but it ended up being not bad! The quality is perhaps not the best? But because of the strong comedic undertone, it manages to stand strong despite my low expectations LOLOL. This novel is an action adventure novel. The MC is a genius transmigrator who ended up in a futuristic cultivation world that is a lot lower in level than his previous world. The initial focus od the novel isn’t on getting stronger though. At first, it’s all about messy relationships!! Not just the MC and ML (Prince... more>> who ends up marrying the MC by complete accident lol) but also their friends (this novel has two main side ships!)I recommend that you give it a try if you’re looking for something lighter in tone. Or if you enjoy weak-to-strong or poor-to-rich cultivation novels of a different taste. This one is set in the future, after all, so it’s not as traditional as your usual cultivation novel. Though, after a while, the sci-fi feels kind of slip away and there’s a focus on “strong eats the weak” mentality that all cultivation novels have.

As an extra note: the TL quality is pretty good! I was a bit skeptical about it at first, since it’s from Flying Lines. But it ended up being readable. I’m a bit too lazy to write a full review for this novel T.T and I feel like I already said everything, so im leaving it here! As for my rating... im giving it a 3.85/5. That’s four stars rounded up! Not bad all in all. The characters were pretty good, though they kind of lose their zest after a while. The romance was similar — exciting at first and then very dry later. If he followed his previous path, he would have self-destructed because of depression and never been able to stand up in this life. Things are different this time around. Not only does he still have his golden finger (a space with rare elixir and some things from the cultivation world), but he also has cultivation knowledge that the cultivators of modern times can only dream of having. With this advantage, he becomes a complete winner in this life.

(As for the ML, he's the MC's male god from his first life. Too far away to touch. This time around, they coincidentally meet when the ML had been seriously injured. Having elixir and alchemy skills in hand, the MC takes care of him and the two become entangled from then on.)

This novel is both too short and too long. It's too short because it feels like there's always something missing. Like, the novel has loads of potential, but since the author focused on slice of life -- mostly casual stuff, very little tension -- it feels like the story never really goes anywhere. As for why I think it's too long, well, that's because the author is VERY wordy. They like to go on tangents, which is amusing at first and makes the reader feel very close to the story ... BUT, then it went overboard and just kept going. Like, there is SO much info dumping in this story that it's a bit maddening. What's worse is that those tangents don't really change the story much. Instead, when the author SHOULD go into tangents -- like why the ML never says anything about his feelings, for example -- they keep it tucked away like sharing it will cause some kind of calamity. LOL.

ANYWAY, to keep a long story short. This novel is not bad. Nothing too special either. I had high expectations -- which both kept me reading for so long AND forced me to stop after the dullness became too much -- but unfortunately most of them were not met. If you want to read a casual story about a cultivator in modern times picking up leaks and so on. It's not bad. Just don't expect too much excitement. The tone of the story is very casual. Again, very suitable for slice of life feels. <<less

The 3P was handled poorly though, and it kind of ruined the atmosphere and overall plot progression T.T As a result, I ended up not finishing the novel! But, still!!! I think I'll remember the first arc for a long time!The main premise of this novel is transmigration into an alternate world. Here, there are no females or males (at least, not as we know it.) There are males who have two pen*ses. And "females" who can give birth who have only one pen*s. Yeah, that part doesn't make much sense, but I found the rest interesting. This world can be considered a fantasy world. Not necessarily your usual cultivation one, but there are similarities. To put it simply, it's a world that's ruled by the strong. Pretty chaotic, especially since certain people, with special abilities and bloodlines, are able to rule over others quite easily. The three main characters all appear as children at first. They lived in the lowest of the low — the slums of this universe.The MC transmigrates and realizes that he's considered a female in this world. He meets ML1 (red hair) early, who discovers his gender, and ends up becoming his future wife-to-be. Not long after, he's also introduced to ML2 (white hair), who is a little more distant towards him, but undeniably fascinates the MC more from the very beginning. The romantic development between the the starts off sweet, but poor handling makes the 3P rather awkward and unhealthy (I consider it unhealthy since both MLs are constantly feeling hurt and the MC constantly feeling guilty.)I don't recommend reading this if you don't like infidelity in novels! But, if you're curious about the setting I described, then I think it might be worth a try? The TLs so far are good, and the MTL is at least 65-70% readable. So there's no reason not to!EXTRA NOTE: This novel does have a couple of smut scenes (more so after the first 70 chapters.) They're not super graphic, but the characters still do the do on screen (and such scenes take up one or two chapters, so yeah!) By the way… the MLs are both younger than the MC. They're both considered adults (15 in their world) by the time they do anything serious, the two are quite mature (both mentally and physically! by that time, but some may have an issue with that! Especially because of the MC's Unknowing-Mary-Sue-Grooming of both of them from the age of ten.  <<less

The TL is okay, but the writing itself is very simple, like... super basic with lots of repetitive phrases (if you did a drinking game for every “—— was speechless” or “—— was at a lost for words” you would have probably died of liver failure... DX). The pacing is super fast too, and the characters not very in depth. Altogether, definitely a rough work. BUT! Well—- the main premise of the move is the MC making money, spending money to get stronger, making even more money to get stronger, and so on and so forth.... more>> The setting is a fantasy cultivation one — starting off with a relatively backwards place and then transitioning to richer areas over time.

I’m the kind of reader that likes poor-to-rich and weak-to-strong stories~ I find it very satisfying. So, I was able to read this novel without getting bored or too turned off by the overall quality. If you’re the same, I highly recommend that you give it a shot as well! Otherwise, it’s probably best to stay away lolol. <<less

I read it till the end this time (previously, I only read up to c42). The MTL is readable if you plug the raw chapters into google translate (simplified Chinese to English). All I can say is that it's a novel that's more comedic than serious. The focus isn't really on survival, as the zombie apocalypse setting may imply. The tone of the novel is very comedic because of the POV character and the style of narration (which is full of slang). The direction is also a bit... more>> silly --- so, it's not really a novel to be taken very seriously. I say read it if you want to turn off your brain for a bit and just relax. It's not bad for that purpose~ My initial rating for this novel was 2.8/5, which seems just about right to me!

Plot: MC Lian Hua gets transmigrated into a novel that he had just finished reading. It's a BL novel set in the apocalypse! The only issue is, as a manly and simple kind of man, he ends up in the role of the novel's white lotus scum villain Bai Lianhua. This scummy shou stole the protagonist's love interest and ended up killing the protagonist in the original timeline. Of course, the protagonist got his revenge on him in the second timeline, which is what MC is now scared of! Sucks to suck, however, he ends up being dragged into the protagonist's storyline. <<less
