The first few chap was he best first chap i've read in a while, that got my hope up quite abit. After that the story become very generic and predictable. I'll say that although the first arc is the most well written in this whole story. Each character here is unique and feels special but after the first arc alot of the character becomes an empty shell of their former self. Moreover, this arc is the best at dealing with action and consequences, cuz here there's actual stake and a real chances to lose. Later arc, the consequences is just not there anymore. The dragons and devils which were hype up as a big threat... more>> just seems to be pushovers. These either being crushed at the hand of the MC or the destruction they cause just happend elsewhere like the empire or some random country that we dont have a reason to give a f*ck. Alot of things that are matter and setted up as important only to get dumped in the later arc. E.x: His barb talent and the near death skill is only being used in the 1st arc and then it just get yeetted afterward. Still credit where credit is due the power fantasy is still done quite well, the fight are pretty good and the setting are unique and interesting.(The final battle which should be where the twist happend is very anti-climatic so yah kekw) It'll be better if the story telling is handle better because the first arc compare to later arc seems like it comes from 2 diff story.
