Some people don't like the ml in this but i actually like him quite a bit he lets the mc do his thing and isn't controlling or possessive. I absolutely love the MC , his brothers and all the side characters so far. (is it obvious i have no words for how much i liked this?)

Fei du (MC?) Is the very much mysterious rich guy. I really love when he gets involved in a case and gives his view on things i find everything he says interesting + as the story progresses you are able to see his past. And let me tell you. In this Novel EVERYTHING connects. Let's keep it short = i love him. 

ML: To be honest didn't care for him at the start but he wasn't a bad character and i ended up easing into him so i started to like him as the novel went on.

 I actually liked how they're individual characters and aren't there just be a romance partner for each other. This definitely focused more on the cases and plot than the romance. But SERIOUSLY not in a bad way it's in a very good way.

 EDIT: Also forgot to mention but the other characters are just as interesting as the main duo and lemme tell you i LOVE my side characters and this was perfect for me.

MC: LOVE HIM i know i've said this a lot but woah. i love how he teases the ML and how most of the time he just doesn't give a shit. + this guy has a plan for everything. You get stuck in the washing machine? No need to call step bro because he has an alternate solution.

ML: He is the uncle of the orig story ml if not obvious enough. He had a brain tumor if i remember correctly before the MC he wasn't planning to seek treatment for it. But ended up doing so later on and he ends up recovering from it thanks to the mc (Supernatural tag really is there.)   Anyways if i had to describe this guy? i'd have to say a grumpy tsundere his personality and the MC's teasing are chefs kisses. (WHY ARE THEY SO CUTE) 

Not to mention The face slapping in this is top notch i enjoyed it way too much i had to re read multiple chapters twice just after finishing them.
