While others stopped reading after 100 chapters, he's the only one who has the drive to follow it until the latest update. It's a very rare couple growth kind of story and has lots of puns. It's quite good and both of them are very OP. One thing that irks me though: the amount of girls in this. At first I was convinced that this is a comfortable romance novel with no love triangles (i hate love triangles) but maybe it's because the author usually writes harem novels but as the chapter goes on, the amount of females in this increased. f*cking hate it. Though it has some loopholes and it does have some flaws, but what novel doesn't have any problem anyway? This novel has serious character development. Humans can evolve by eating the flesh of the creatures in that sanctuary. Meaning their lifespan can go up to even thousands of years. But the plot doesn't stop at that. There were also these beings called shura(? i think?) who were at war with humans. I don't want to spoil more so all I can say is that there is more things going on here. About an old mage (yeah, ik, but please be respectful to your elders!) - let me rephrase that a bit - about an old 8th CLASS MAGE who was betrayed by his close friend. MC helped his friend to rise up to the throne and literally made history together but was still stabbed in the back by this ungrateful friend. But don't worry, as the first 8th class mage in history, using his genius 8th class tier brain to actually do something that no one had ever done before, he deciphered the extinct dragon language to turn back to the time when he was 10 years old. Imagine a genius turning back in time to be an even greater genius. MC loves his family, few close friends, child genius, face-slapping, on top of that, ugly looking, no romance as far as I remember, all in one set! This novel has ALL of this! Instead, he tried his best to actually grow and learn something one by one. The MC wasn't talentless. As for the reason he had no achievement in the past?(future?)
