Never not going to add this. The ending and oftentimes the small moments scattered throughout the novel hit me like a truck and left me a trainwreck. The novel pushes you into introspection. There are things you'll realize. Not all stories end. Such as this one. You cannot understand someone through mere sentences. Failure to grieve does not erase the misery. Stories exist for someone to look at them. And some things just happen, no matter how harsh or how good they may be, they will pass and we just have to accept that.

This was a breath of fresh air, there has been a certain amount of crying from my side, but it's not the sad kind. This is a really nice read, makes you feel good and touches your heart in a way you won't expect it to. Found family with a smart and nonchalant protagonist, that at times can be emotionally numb. The story never gets boring and you're always up for a good adventure and expectant of whatever Cale is about to pull out of his sleeves. A good read if you like to see someone just grow strong and kick ass. Dude's basically the cookie-cutter overpowered protagonist. The side characters are so cute though they're barely ever the focus. The ending and placing of the plot that far in the novel is kinda unexpected but if you backtrack I guess you'll see the foreshadowing and the reason why it's arranged as so. Although I'd say it would pale in comparison to the two on top, I guess it's on a league of its own lol.... more>>

There's romance, but subtle since they really focused on Jinwoo's growth. The side stories are nice and after you finish the novel, I recommend reading the manhwa, the visuals are seriously top tier and did the novel justice.

Real heavy case of Hidden Identity. Honestly, badass guy, though he has a lot of misunderstandings he needs to resolve with his peers. I think the way the characters are structured, they felt real, or at least the frustration you either felt for them, at them or with them is real.
