These are some of the novels I've been reading. Nearly all of them have male protagonists. If you enjoy shounen reads with a dash of fantasy and occasional game elements, I would suggest you go through it. 

P.s. Some of them might have a manhwa/manga based on them. So if you like it more, you can read it first as well.

On a side note, sometimes and manhwas are kinda more rushed? So it's better to read the novel first if you feel like that.
