BL's With Typical 'Tops'
By typical, what I mean is the typical tops portrayed in most Asian BL novels who possess usually two or/and more of the following qualities:
Extremely possessive
Overbearing
Never wanting to be the bottom
Always jealous
Always teasing the bottom in a kinky way
Only has s*x on mind
Petty towards everyone except towards the bottom
Trying to 'eat tofu' every chance they get
Forceful
Cold and aloof
Too OP
To give you an example, I borrowed some words from the book Paper Lover where our seme protagonist, Li Shuoxing, says:
Today’s mol*station √
Today’s bullying √
Today’s pacification √
After doing today’s daily tasks, Li Shuoxing was in a good mood.
On a side note, Paper Lover actually portrays an absolutely healthy relationship so you can just go and read it.
I created this list just so that I can vent my anger. There are actually many other 'tops' that are borderline typical but I can't decide whether I should include them or not. But before all this, I personally hate the fact that the couples are segregated into top and bottom. Why are there so few stories where the couple are reversible? Anyways, here goes the list:
