Other high praises for the story include how the characters are mostly three dimensional, including the last "antagonist" being one of the best antagonists one has read from stories with the same air and vibe; highly psychological, vividly imaginative, and thought-provoking concentrating on a few of the current society's and tomorrow's social and systematical issues; the romance is gradual and is subplot, but still pleasing. The novel is a rollercoaster ride of laughter, warmth, heartaches, and what-ifs. There will be more mature content in the latter half of the story but nothing too explicit. Albeit the premise of regret and multiple reincarnated characters are not new, this remained to be one of the best one has read. The characters were well fleshed out and the plot's elements seemed to be those that would remind one of the principles of Chekhov's gun (states that every element in a story must be necessary, and irrelevant elements should be removed) were executed seamlessly by the author. A wholesome and comforting read of insanely vivid food descriptions (tho, I am not complaining), domestic bliss, and life's lessons. <<less
