The author's method of using songs, elements, and views from the 80s and 90s is rarely seen in novels.... more>> In addition, as the story progresses one can see character growth and development, and this itself makes me feel emotional when the author takes the story back to the characters' teenage days in the extras. I had to admit, before the resolution of the conflicts within the story, I was afraid that this story would have a bad ending and was preparing myself for a great heartache. However, luckily the story ended with a sweet ending. This book is so underrated and is one another one of my favorites.  <<less
