Fairly standard isekai, where the protagonist gets plopped down in the middle of the woods with various overpowered skills and little explanation and then proceeds to ingrain themselves into the local community. Initially translated by a decent group but not as a main project, so the releases were rather sporadic and nowhere near on pace to catch up with the huge number of original language chapters. They ended up washing their hands of it after getting sniped by a MTL group. Might not be worth bothering with past that point unless the translation situation improves. <<less

You definitely have to go into this one understanding that it's a gag/parody take on the isekai genre. The main character gets severely overpowered through a ridiculous series of events, and then goes on ridiculous adventures meeting ridiculous characters. The first few dozen chapters were translated by a decent group, but after they dropped out it was unfortunately picked up by a particularly lousy one for another dozen chapters or so. Was recently picked up again by another group after lying fallow for a while, but I have yet to make it through the second group's chapters to say how well the new group is doing with it. <<less

Fun story, despite one glaring flaw in the premise. The background for the story has it that people are born with magic crests on them that provide various abilities. The main character is a minor prince in a royal family blessed with many powerful crests, who's deemed useless and effectively sent off to die on a barren island when no one can figure out what his crest, 'Cave King', is supposed to do. Apparently nobody involved was smart enough to say, 'Hey, maybe we should take him to a cave and see what happens', because the moment he steps into one on the island the crest unlocks and he gets all kinds of overpowered. I... more>> know a lot of light novel plots are built on characters being kinda s*upid, but that sort of obvious oversight really stands out even for this genre.

Aside from that the story so far is pretty good community-building plot, with the MC sheltering various other castaways with his newfound powers. It's still pretty new, but it's advancing the plot at a decent clip and putting down some good foundations for future developments. It's being worked on by a good translator with a solid rate of releases, as well. <<less

Something of an exemplar of the 'underestimated protagonist' concept. The MC is actually extremely talented, but he lives in a culture with a strict apprenticeship system that actively discriminates against people seen as 'failures' regardless of whether or not the people they were apprenticed to bothered to actually teach them anything. Anyway, the plot has the MC apprenticed to an adventuring party that has built up its reputation by exploiting his abilities, particularly his taming of a gryphon, only to kick him out after getting the top rating of 'heroes' from the Adventures Guild. Everything else in the story is the fallout from that action, with the MC getting snatched up by someone who does recognize his talents, the gryphon taking revenge on the rest of the party, and the Guild scrambling to cover themselves when it becomes clear that they promoted some incompetents to the top ranks as the various threads of the story pile onto each other. <<less
