I don't have a high opinion of most of these high school romance comedies, reading the synopsis doesn't give me expectations of a creative story.

But I tried this on a whim to kill time and man, the first few chapters were a breath of fresh air, cutest sh*t ever.

Although the translation is only up to the early chapters, I really like their interactions. I'm glad translator-san decided to pick this up and thankful the author wrote this diabetes inducing story! This is so, super sweet that I even forgot to cringe!!

I love the silver head kuudere and how ML unknowingly teases her, I mean he's kinda smooth just saying how she's cute, or maybe how he might fall for her and other sly things in front of her face, well it's not like he's... more>> a playboy... just kinda... blunt or honest and not the type to be embarrassed about what he says.

So far...I've enjoyed reading those hopeless duo... looking forward for more... seriously though this one kinda makes you say " GO EXPLODE, YOU NORMIES!!" Or something along the line

Reading the web versions' current chapters and I definitely like their fathers' character and personalities.

Mc's father is like a protagonist from a detective novel and always gets involved into trouble while fl's daddy is a foreigner, I like how overprotective he is to he's wife and daughters but doesn't mind it if MC is fl's lover, I like how he also gets into trouble because of mc's dad

My god this is soo garbage. Reading this was so frustrating. MC and FML should have started dating in like chapter 3, but for not good reason FML couldn't go out with MC (because of dumb trauma, it was such a f*cking bullsh*t). I just can't, it is indeed wholesome, but wholesome won't heal my anger caused by the bullsh*t I read in previous chapter. And the way how the MC realised his feelings for FML was also f*cking s*upid, from a pretty smart person, he turned into complete r*tard... more>> and thought that the love he has for her is that of a guardian that wants to protect FML and not love. Bruh I can't I seriously wanted to enjoy this sh*t but the characters are too dumbbbbb for me to enjoy this. Like for real, even thought they both knew that they love each other already, and even though MC confessed to FML twice, all FML did was just run away. Sometimes I wished that MC could just distance himself for a while and stop being the one pushing their relationship, because whenever he tried FML pushed him away from her. I wanted FML to confess instead of MC after what she did, because it was annoying how she blamed him and how he blamed himself for something that FML did not wrong. 1/5 sh*t for ruining good story with bullsh*t drama trauma past and bullsh*t illogical behaviour of characters.

Allright It's even worse than I thought, FML is seriously incredibly shtupid, bruh, I'm not even sure if it's a story about Highschoolers and not Elemntary students. What's wrong with kissing at that age? Why would you be shy about talking about kissing with your boyfriend/girlfriend? I feel like author never went to highshool or never had any contact with opposite gender or never talked with others about love/relationships. Oh and now it's no longer about the trauma that FML doesn't want to accept or confess to MC, now she is just TOO F*CKING SHY. Like what? Are we in elementary school, imagine, two people love each other and both know about that, they want to be together, so one side decides to confess (3-4 times in novel already) but the other side doesn't want to accept it because she is too shy. (???) Really? So she wants to be with MC, but she is too shy to be with him in relationship, what kind of bullsh*t is this? This just shows how incompetent author is.

This will be a rather short review because I believe it's all you'll need in order to want to read this series.

This maybe one of the most fluffy, cute and heartwarming romcom series that I have ever read. It is the equivalent of taking so much sugar that you end up in a diabetic coma. Just reading the kuudere's reactions to the MC's smooth advances is just a joy to read. Just read it, it's absolutely fantastic.

A girl who is easily embarrassed and covers this fact by shredding people with her venomous tongue.
A boy who is very good at reading other people, doesn't fully understand himself, and doesn't have a filter for what he thinks and feels.

You might think these are rather dull plot points on which to build a story, and on the surface it might seem so, however there is so much more here than meets the eye. I won't lie, there are some cliché plot points (the MC saves FL from some dirt bag), but there is a whole lot more beyond these standard tropes. It's also highly entertaining and fun to watch this odd pair as they try to understand themselves and each other, while at the same time managing to balance each other out.

Now we just need more of this series translated...

This cute and fluffy story embodies this saying into its core. Here we have ML who is blunt, straight forward, with a near supernatural power to "read" minds and is not afraid of expressing his feelings.

The FL is a TREASURE. She is a tsundere in the truest sense (none of that 'Don't be mistaken I didn't want to...' nonsense), CUTE, shy, CUTE, caring, CUTE, kind, CUTE, ponkotsu (Google it) type of CUTE heroine.

We witness the growth of both ML and FL throught out the story with interesting, wholesome and fleshed out side characters.

P.S. That woman is CUTE

This is a really good comedy novel, there is romance but it started from the start and is quite fluffy and sweet but the overall comedy wins and is so good that you can't stop laughing. The MC is really different from the other romcom protagonist and is quite fresh and entertaining.......................................

Enjoyment - 5. According to the majority, I don't rate it personally because I have too many bias

Writing - 4. The sentence doesn't flow quite smoothly and lacks subtlety but that's me nitpicking, overall it's good.

Plot - 2. The whole plot is average at best but it had poor dynamic development, like, bruh. It's understandable though as the author aimed to maximize cuteness while sacrificing the plot, so it couldn't be helped.

Character - 2. Character inconsistency is a huge letdown. I would rate it higher if I read later volumes, which will introduce more character depth. The ML is not dense due to his ability to read people's expressions; the premise made you expect him to be quite famous in school and have had some relationships with girls, but no, it's the opposite, for s*upid reason nonetheless (He claims it wears him down to constantly guess his girlfriend's expression, which is so s*upid when he's doing it every day and he could just don't do it.), It's so that the cliche, the ML could end up with the MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN SCHOOL, bruh. The FL is more of a tsundere than a kuudere (which is used to describe an unexpressive and blunt character while in the story she's quite expressive and said something knowing it will hurt other) I fell terribly for the "kuudere" and left frustrated when faced with the true tsudere queen. Also true to the saying love makes people go dumb dumb, as their s*upidity is pointed out by bvraf.

Art - 3. It could have been better considering artist ability

This novel is a bit different from the usual slice of life romcom novels that I see everywhere, and I really enjoyed it. From the start, the male protaganist was very smart and could always tell what the female protagonist was thinking, but one small detail is how he eventually starts to stop reading into her intentions so they can have a more wholesome relationship.
