Hey I am at the Ch396 of World Apocalypse Online (WAO) and I am just tired.

I got into the novel seeing people's recommendations and the alright rating on NU. But I just can't go on now. Below is what my opinion on it stands-

#1. BAD HAREM.

I can understand conflict within the harem but the romance is god awful. MC saves a girl one time and they fall in love with him, especially that Su Xuer girl, she's just an annoying love interest that I can't fathom how did she becomeso... more>> lovestruck with MC.

Eveyother girl falls in MC because of the same reason. EVERYONE USED TO LOOK AT THEM WITH LUST BUT NOT THE MC. NO HE IS A GIGACHAD THAT RESPECTS WAMEN. Ning Yuer and the two maids of some youngmaster in the Shen Xu world arc, I am looking at you.

*I conclude the 1st point here.- Awful romance or lack thereof.*

# 2. HIS CULTIVATION:

At first we are told that we used Soul Points to go through the reals his foundations are stable but for plot convenience it sometimes become stable for him to breakthrough as he likes.

He ascends the cultivation stages like me eating chocolate. But I can understand that. He is the MC. But somehow, his entourage of quirky characters all do the same.

*I conclude the 2nd point here- Cliche xianxia like cultivation*

#3. SYSTEM

His War God UI is such an op piece of shit. Oh you're in a problem, no worries, just spend these soul points that you conveniently obtained just a few chapters before to solve it. Soul points are just your go to panacea.

- *Oh my my d*ck is small.*

{ Host, you can use 10 Soul Points to turn it into a mighty dragon schlong that all the ladies love.}

That's basically his system.

It gives quests and rewards as it likes. It even gives the rewards early and some op ones I tell you. The title system is a good damn overkill if I have ever seen one. From the assassin title, if you kill an enemy in one strike, then you get back all the energy you used for that strike. I am just speechless.

* I conclude my 3rd point. An OP unnecessary piece of sh*t system.*

#4. THE NEED TO NEEDLESSLY LOOK COOL.

Enough said. To look cool, MC will forget his teleporting powers and everyother power to just look COOL. MEN! MUST BE THIS COOL. *Flexes Muscle*

#5. Horrendous Dialogue and Translations.

Translations are below average at best. They add half the Chinese names that break the flow. They call teacher or master or elder a shifu. Is this kunfu panda or something. Say teacher and I will get it. Say shifu 100 times and it annoys me.

And I still don't understand wtf Huang Quan is? Underworld? Hell? Idk.

And the dialogue. Shit. That's as much importance I am going to give it.

Still have a few more points but I don't want to waste my time and yours reading such an already long post

TL;Dr: Novel is a typical Xianxia masked as a Sci fi world travelling shit. Characters development is bad. Romance is bad. World building is average. Dialogue is shit. Translations are below average. System is too op. MC is s*upid as shit. <<less

What a fantastic clusterf*ck of an novel, 2-3/5 for the first hundred of chapters, then 5/5 afterwards. The first 200-300 chapters is definitely the weakest point of the novel and if you can get past that, we are introduced to so many new and refreshing aspects that we just don't see from other novels.

Lets start with the beginning, its confusing as f*ck and a couple things are retconned/changed in the later chapters of the novel as the author didn't have a clear idea where things were going to go. Its... more>> also pretty standard and cliched as we have a MC going back into the past with a system and cliched things. However, I'm very glad I didn't drop it as boy do things pick up.

This novel truly shines once MC leaves his world and ventures out into the 900 million worlds and parallel worlds (yup, you read that right). BOOM, we get new power systems, fairies, abyssal people, eternal entities, we get a talking machine gun, a flying gourd, a death dog, we get fascinating new worlds, thousand-year old enemies who can actually think, hilarious side characters, and one of the best MCs to make it work.

Lets move on to our MC - for most of the novel MC is perpetually the weakest being, this leads him to schemes and scam other people and man these schemes and scams are truly amazing (think of it like Li Yao from Forty Millenniums of Cultivation). The twists are mind-blowing and MC is able to win from from situations that are literally almost impossible for anyone else thanks to his smarts (if you like smart MCs then this novel is for you).

This novel is action focused with good comedic moments. The power system is very unique once MC leaves his world, we had the typical cultivation and then in the myriad universes there are so many different powers and abilities that every enemy will have a unique power and the fights become amazing (no more 'my cultivation level is higher than you so die' as we literally have sure-death and fate-changing abilities). MC also picks up various abilities that even MC and the readers sometimes will forget what he has learned because there are so many various powers in this novel (for example around ch 1000, MC is in a dire situation and uses an ability he learned in like around ch 500 that we all forgot about)

Lets move on some of the negatives:

  1. Pacing and plot of the novel is definitely one of its weakest points. Everything is very fast paced as MC is literally in a rush against the apocalypse. One moment we will be moving to new scenes and fascinating worlds with no real break for MC and the next moment we are stuck for hundreds of chapters in a side realm.
  2. Harem novel, although there is barely any interaction with them (MC is ALWAYS separated from them)
  3. Beginning of the novel is confusing and the plot is weird
  4. MC is always weak and it might seem like everyone is out to get him or that the odds are always stacked against his favor.
Although this novel has a weak start, the pacing is bad, and a confusing plot, it truly is a unique and interesting novel and once the MC ventures out, I have not been able to stop reading it even with a couple of bad arcs there. Recommended. <<less

I couldn't do it anymore. I started reading this novel because it has such a high ranking here on novelupdates but the glaring plot holes and inconsistencies made it nearly unbearable.

With mechas, cultivation, alternate worlds, and reincarnation this story clearly had lofty ambitions but after a while the author seemed unable to establish a proper method to synergize all of these elements.

Spoiler

Mechas eventually become useless, only serving as cannon fodder for the cultivators/Professionals/elementalists (yeah it gets confusing).

[collapse]

However, the deciding point for me was the poor quality of this story's MC. Despite being the world's strongest hero and being the leader of the biggest guild, he returns and acts like any other guy that stumbles upon a cheat.

Spoiler

Reasons why the MC is tr*sh.

1.) Apparently his experiences from his last life are with less than a sewer c*ckroach's d*ck because he apparently needs help breaking through to the second lowest level of cultivation.

2.) Any and all females that even say "Bless you" after the MC sneezes are deemed as kind beginning their absurd journey into the MC's harem. (Not even 200 chapters in and he already has 3 love interests)

3.) Both realities seem like that simulation in Rick and Morty in that the world only seems to move and progress when the MC is involved. Any and all problems seem to wait for the MC to become free enough to come solve them.

This really became clear when the MC stumbles upon an infected zombie (yes there is essentially a zombie virus in here too) that was locked up for months; however, as if by magic the virus decides to wait until its discovered and reported by the MC to start spreading and cause an outbreak. The virus literally breaks out within an hour of the MC discovering it (keep in mind that the virus has been around for at least a few months.)

I'm starting to think that the MC never actually reincarnated, but is in fact already dead and the things happening are merely a dream he's having.

I really wanted to give this a chance but seriously I have to reduce this to one star.

The author has failed in balancing the difference between the first two world. Originally it was a day in the Game World “Cultivation” would be equivalent to 1 hour in Real World. But Game World stays frozen no matter how long the Real World has passed.

Now up to the point of the apocalypse in the Real World barely a week has passed and everything has fallen into chaos.

Power level is a total mess... more>> as well. He could fight against high level demons in the Game World but cannot kill an elite virus infected superhuman in the Real World. The author try to reduce the role of technological weapons. It is like saying a nuke cannot kill a demon at the Qi Condensation level.

Apparently a 4th stage elementalist can kill that virus infected superhuman but the main character can’t. Yet our main character’s ability is enough to beat 4th Stage elementalist except against Martial Saint.

His cultivation is flawed as well. Considering in his past life he was a Sword Saint a level below a real Titled Saint. How on Earth does he need help to even reach Foundation Establishment?

The author also likes to change the story every few chapters. The first scientist who created the warp technology was cruelly killed by the aristocrats in order to steal his work. Later oh he’s still alive and they only killed his clone because he wanted to become the 10th Aristocrat in the Confederation that’s why they killed him.

A rollercoaster of a mess. <<less

Disclaimer: I actually read 1820 chapters as of today

"Oh hey there, it's an apocalypse. It's all good, let's start this powerlevelling novel. I need to feed my brain with something other than some random dehydrated cultivation novel...... " is what I thought at first. only later did I get to know how wrong I was.

It's about a guy fighting an apocalypse. All would have been well and smooth like a generic powerlevelling novel if the opponents and apocalypses would have been just a bit stronger than him, so that our... more>> MC could use some small trick or two to defeat them and call it a day.

NO NO NO

As the story goes, our MC gets stronger but the enemies are way way way stronger than him. How to deal with them? There is this beauty in the way he observes, speaks, acts and interacts. I have not felt that MC ever made a dumb decision.

The first 200 or so chapters don't give this novel justice at all. You can feel the maturity of the writing style in the later chapters. MC uses every braincell available to think of a plan (he has a lot of brain cells) and reacts to situations with a tolerable outcome. MC rethinks of his actions and consequences whenever they are relevant.

i am not providing any spoilers because I want people to give this novel a well deserved chance. I can delightfully put this novel at the level of LOTM and RI. If you feel like I am exaggerating, please read it till 500 chapters or so and then decide. <<less

Overrated!

I have started to think that the Author pays for people to create accounts and give 5 stars to a Novel they didn't even read, but anyways... Here is a review from some one who had read Hundreds of those Cultivation Media.

Even thought I haven't finished reading the Novel, with 1200s chapter read, I can determine the type of novel it is, as I stated on many reviews, a building construction isn't scored by his painting and decorations, but the sturdiness and consistency of it's foundation and his structure, a... more>> beautiful building with a bad foundation, WILL FALL!

Spoiler

At the beginning the premise is good, modern age setting mecha, Smart MC with good knowledge about robotics, Author opted for the "Returnee" Origin, most of them use this as a tag to label the Novel and forget about it, and others build around it. This Author builds the initial Plot about the MC's memories of past life, but that doesn't last too much.

MC is never OP since his mayor characteristic is his wits which he solve his problem, BUT, here comes the issue when the things change from Scifi to a Xianxia Cultivation Novel, Author has too many Cultivation levels (24?) and doesn't matter how many realms the MC raises (which he does FAST) he will be always weak, Is nto liek there are a lot of OP enemies, like higher plane with higher cultivation ppl, NO! enemies are a little bunch, but Author find the need to Nerf MC, striping him from Abilities and items, or simply Put a Stronger enemies (usually 3/4 realms higher than MC) chasing after him.

Worldbuilding is biased and badly done, mostly because Author hide information from the readers with the excuse of some X thing telling MC :"I cant tell you this because you aren't strong enough", there author keep the world secrets until he decides to bloat or convolute the universe with X random bullsh*t of Dimension or multiverse and so on, this repeats many times.

About romance? forget it! Typical Shounen manga Plot of Dense MC, who is sup[posed to be adult and living two lives, he likes a girl, but many girl like him and he Cant Simply Hold The Lemons, he has no choice whatsoever in the romance aspect like any Intelligent Modern Ear Guy, also, Author keep shoving him women over and over and making him say "Sorry I like some one else" which is plain bullsh*t in a cultivation novel, either make the MC decision firm, or stop shoving women to come with this bullsh*t of excuse to keep an Harem going.

Enemies? Well the Author! At the beginning of the first 500 or so chapter, you see the MC in control of the Plot, smart decision, his own plan, his own choices, his own schemes, but then after 600 or so chapters you see the MC becoming a Gary Tsu, solving problem from a side to another, you stop reading about MC's schemes or plans for hundreds of chapter and instead you see the plot dragging him by the nose. Something that needs to happen to the plot, just suddenly happens and the MC has to go there, or save some one, or just, do something he unplanned, later you see him coming from behind with some insights and thought but that doesn't change that it only worked to solve the plot, and never was his plans like in the beginning.

Side characters are forgotten for hundreds of chapters keep in cold storage until later use the author needs them, and you see them, or the author simply jumps to fill the current plot in a senseless way, like that time MC was 10 thousands years in the past, then author studently change the focus of the history for 1 chapter to the future to see what those characters are doing, which is completely irrelevant since MC is in the PAST!

Well anyways, the more you read, the more disappointed you are of the initial premise, it seems that the author wanted to hit as many tags as he wanted so his novel appears on more search options. I read that he was a new writing as of this Novel so I will give him 3 stars.

[collapse]

TLDR: Good reading but tiresome around middle of the Novel, read if nothing else better to read. Focus on those 3 stars review, those are the real reviews of the Novel (how come you give 5 starts and then say the novel has some flaws) <<less

the power balance here is not done right

Spoiler

it was said that the real indicator of strength is the spirit energy, he can't even defeat the pope, and some man killer fiends in the earlier chaps... what happened there

and he's supposed to be a sword cultivator which is known to have the ability to kill someone above his realm

if it's because of their powers then what happened to the 3 potions he used to upgrade his skill, it's an underwhelming upgrade I must say, from 1 sec stun to 2 sec stun.. that's all.. really some BS there

there's also that su girl goddamn it's getting tiring reading things about her, all her power up are so easy that she should be the mc

an example of this is when she broke through to the 4 elemental realm because of some jealousy even though it was said to be hard to get there... then now she's undergoing another power up

This novel is the definition of "Exhausting", the plot and the MCs chalanges can be described as a constant rain of feces that starts at chapter 1 and doesn't stop at any moment, the MC its always running out of time and there's never time to breathe and understand what just happened, but it sure it was epic, it was the most amazing even unbelieveable that has ever been happened in history until 5 minutes from now when something even more amazing happens.

There's never time sit down and talk of... more>> something its not related to a world ending calamity, something about cultivation or a peerless beauty that's overwhelmingly powerful/in danger that's completely in love with the MC, all these world ending calamities are always present and they just keep piling on and on, every problem solved is replaced with another 2 or 3, im surprised the MC isn't out of breath at every scene seeing he's constantly putting out fires or on the way to put out a fire, this isn't a story summary but its a good example of my experience with the novel

"THIS GUY WILL TOTALLY KICK HIS A$S!!!

No he won't, he dies and the next power scrub is going to kick his ass

Oh wait, no, the world is ending again, gotta make time for that

But just now another peerless beauty is in danger, he needs to run there RIGHT NOW!

Sh*t, the world clans are after his as$, he has to think of something on the way

D*mn, on the way to meet his rival AND save the world AND the girl AND fend off the cabal that controls the world government HE WAS ATTACKED BY A 100 BILLION DEMONS

AND PEOPLE ARE GOING CRAZY!

ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE!

CTHULHU CAME OUT OF HIDING AND ITS ROAMING THE OCEANS!

THE AI MIGHT GO ROGUE!

THE NEIGHBOUR COUNTRY'S RELIGION SET A BOUNTY ON HIS HEAD!

AN UBER GOD FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION WANTS HIM TO SAVE HIM FROM ANOTHER EVEN MORE POWERFUL GIGA UBER GOD!

AND THE SYSTEM THAT'S BEEN HELPING HIM SET A NEW QUEST THAT HE HAS CLEAR IN 5 MINUTES OR EVERYONE THAT HAS EVER EXISTED WILL F*CKING DIE!

Oh, never mind, he solved everything

OH NO! 500 TRILLION OTHER WORLD ENDING PROBLEMS CAME UP JUST NOW"

At some point I got tired and stopped caring, its tiring to see all this problems with so little catharsis <<less

So, the beginning is really fun. Author tosses the kitchen sink, spare tire, Grandma's walker, and everything else you can think of into the story while MC does his adventures between the first and second worlds. However, somewhere in the 200s it gets tiring. I originally wanted to give this three stars, but the last twenty or so chapters all the established characters have been so off character that I had to drop it here, and I think that's worth a knocked off star. I would love to see more... more>> of the characters (well, the ones I like) but it feels like the author avoids interacting with already established characters and instead prefers to find more kitchen sinks to toss into the story.

While I don't consider translation quality while reviewing I feel like I should mention that there is a dramatic improvement of the grammar ~150-200. Just a heads up for those who might drop it early due to early grammar.

Spoiler complaints:

Spoiler
  • MC and Su Xue have so little interaction in the story at this point that I'm not even sure that I have her name correct. In the introduction they're school friends and MC asks her to visit his meat cart to cover up return to the past mistakes, later she's wolfing down his food because its been so long since she last had it while the opening implied that she never ate his cooking.
  • The "date" between the two comes out of no where when you consider the miniscule amount of interaction the two have had prior.
  • Why do the demons suddenly stop causing random catastrophes on earth right when a third party wants to invade? It's not like the third party is enough for them to bat an eye at.
  • MC literally has a movement skill to get past formations/skills, conveniently forgetting it when locked down by Su is horrible writing.
  • Dude, you've spent the last 500 chapters desperately working to save your world from the apocalypse why are you suddenly more interested in paying off some guy's debts you've known for a day?

This Novel definitely holds the top position in the Apocalypse tag. Though the first 200 chapters don't stand out must compare to many other novels since it's the author's first. But then the story only gets better and better after each arc. Let me make it clear about some element that may confuse readers:
First, there is no game world. Everything is real, so do not think that the game is unbalanced or something.

Second is that the system of the MC in his second life unique. Its origin is only... more>> explained after about 1000 chapters and it is very different from the system of his past life.

Then, about the power level, there are limitless classes in this novel such as duelist, cultivator, fighter, seer,... and it is always updated (The MC is a Sword cultivator and so far this system has 22 levels) so there is just beatable or unbeatable enemy, later is killable or unkillable.

And finally, although this has harem tag, the MC doesn't even have time to sleep much less flirting, and the time he spends with each girl can be counted with hour.

I must say that this novel brings fresh air to the Apocalypse genre and is a must read for Apocalypse genre fan. <<less

Basic Premise: Gu Qing Shan travels back in time and gains the War God UI, and resolves to save the worlds he knows from the Apocalypse. But the more he digs into the apocalypse, the bigger the world he knows becomes, the deeper the secrets run. What is it going to take to stop the destruction of worlds?

A More Objective Rating:

Spoiler
    • Translation: 2/5. Frequently missing end punctuation. Wording can be awkward. Annoying, but more importantly, understandable.
    • Story: 3/5. Long, confusing, and unwieldy, even if it keeps you waiting in suspense. Note: The first 100 chapters suck.
    • Characters: 2/5. Because there are so many ongoing threads in the story, characters don't often have the chance to show off all their facets, and sometimes there is no mention of them for hundreds of chapters at a time. On the other hand, the things that are shown are very fun.
    • Harem: 0/5 I've chosen to ignore it because it is annoying and adds nothing to the story. The "harem candidates, " in my opinion, deserve to be evaluated as characters on their own, as they all have their own interesting stories and plot lines. As such, it irritates me to no end that they have such fascinating plot lines, but their motives are simply reduced down to "Likes Gu Qing Shan." Similarly, Gu Qing Shan is a decisive person who values his relationships with others; I don't think the author did him justice by having him waffle between multiple love interests.
[collapse]

Personal Rating: 5/5 I love this freaking story.

This is hands down one of my favorite webnovels, ever. This webnovel has everything. Where do I even begin? Worlds' Apocalypse Online takes place in a many-world multiverse where anything and everything can happen. There are cultivators, fiends, devils, and demons. There are card battles, systems, mechas, and abyss monsters. There is such thing as fate, if one wants to believe in it, as well as parallel universes, independent world systems, and time travel. Everything happens in this story, and it is awesome. Whenever I try to explain this story to someone, I sound like an insane person. It has been described by one such friend I've forced to listen to me as "the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure of webnovels."

I can't say this is high-brow literature or the best thing written out there, but I genuinely love reading Gu Qing Shan's adventures as he tries to unravel layer after layer of mystery, strive against fate, and save everyone he loves. And he also kills. He does a lot of killing. This never fails to be funny to me.

I believe part of the joy of reading this story is accompanying Gu Qing Shan on his efforts to uncover the interweaving plots around him, so I won't say anything about the story plot. However, I will say that I greatly enjoy the theme and message of this story. In many time travel, system, or isekai stories, the premise is a means of escapism -- "if only I had something that could turn around my fate." But in this story, these things don't solve your problems. They only delay your problems, or even excavate more of them. Continuously in this story, there are many beings who try to live on by escaping their problems -- but it doesn't work. Instead, one has to have the courage to take action, go against the flow, and reject "fate" in order to truly overcome one's circumstances. "Don't just think of escaping; think of a way to fight back." Amidst all the bloodshed and death in this story, I think this theme really has a chance to bloom.

If you have a good tolerance for mediocre-to-bad beginnings and the patience to read 2200 chapters, please consider giving this story a go.

This is currently one of my top 5 favorite novels that I am reading and I've read a ton of garbage novels in order to find the good ones from the bad.

The thing about this novel is while the pace in each Arc seems scathingly fast the Over-arching plot moves ahead at a snails pace. You are experiencing things from the MC's perspective so there are many things that he believes to be true or learned to be true that end up being falsehoods the further you progress in the... more>> story. Don't take things at face value as there are many secrets running around here in the vast layers of the universe.

There is a bit of a fish in a well sort of vibe to the plot moving forward, but every decision and action the the MC takes comes back to affect him in the future. There's been plenty of moment's where things that happened 500 chapters ago just now come into play due to certain factors. Characters that you think you might never seen again show up when you least expect and there is a certain nostalgic value to that that I enjoy.

The writing gets better the further you get into the story in quality. Don't be fool just because the MC has used an ability in the last 50-100 chapters does not mean he doesn't ever use it again, the MC is a fan of using a power when its most needed to advance the plot or get out of a sticky situation.

Don't take the first 500 chapters at face value, things are not as them seem. The deeper you get into the story the more you learn about why things in the early chapters and past arc's happen in the way they did.

This story is very much about steady accumulation, it takes a bit to really hit its stride but once it gets going, you won't be disappointed. <<less

I very much enjoyed the first 300 or so chapters, the novel has a lot of cool unique elements, but it ultimately tries to do too much too fast and becomes a bore to read.

The Good:

  • Power diversity, the story might start off as a cultivation story, but you later get introduced to other power systems like card users, spell casters, divine beings, evolving beings, unique ability users, supernatural beings, etc. It makes the world more interesting when it doesn't just boil down to "I'm one layer above you so unless you are the MC I automatically win"
  • World building (early on), in general is good, it makes sense within the universe, and a lot of different settings are shown, what ruins it later on is the pacing.
  • Characters feel unique enough, not every character gets the enough development, but it doesn't feel like every character is a carbon copy of another. At least the key characters feel like they have a consistent personality through all the chapters I read, even as they develop they still feel unique from others.
  • Loose ends tend to get tied back to the main story and nicely closed off at some point, or at least it felt that way from the chapters I read. More then once I found myself wondering, what about john smith, where did he go, only to have my question answered 50 chapters later in a place I did not expect.
The Bad:

  • There is way too much happening at any given moment, specially later on as the world building expands. The MC is constantly under pressure trying to solve like 5 different problems in 3 different worlds at the same time. The MC gets no breathing room, its go go go all the time. I would prefer there were some buffer between crisis where we can enjoy and celebrate his accomplishments.
  • Too many skill, he will learn like 10+ new skill per arc and and 9 of them will never be mentioned again or are just mentioned in passing without playing any noticeable role.
  • The MC can do it all, it was cool to have different characters with different power systems, but when the MC can do it all it dilutes everyone else's flavor.
I eventually dropped it because I found myself skipping entire chapters because I just didnt care about what immediate crisis the MC was trying to prevent, I was still invested in the crisis he... more>> was preventing 5 crisis's ago, which he has not yet finished preventing. Some chapters I was skipping because 1/2 the chapters was just the system telling him about the new skill he learned that will probably not be used more than once. <<less

the novel is very fast paced and there are too many things happening in the background in other worlds and parallel universes, but our MC is a single man with no one to hold the skies for him when things go bad so MC has to tough it out, be smart, fearless, very lucky and unwilling to admit defeat. He's constantly dealt with impossible odds and after some plot progression MC's best with all the worlds luck is not enough to hold back different bad endings so he starts travelling... more>> back in time, moves between worlds with different speed of time progression or worlds with stopped time.
part of it like from legend of zelda 'ocarina of time' where an event is destined to occur so you have to go back in the past to change the events without actually changing the present but solving crisis in the future.
romance is flat but you can't expect much when MC is moving from one harrowing experience to another.

there is plot armor and minor plot holes but this novel still gets solid 5 from me. <<less

The story is amazing.

And the way way he defeats his enemies is very clever and a good take, and it is very cool how defeats his enemies instead of the MC being one punch man. It is so s*upid and infeareating how this novel got claimed and now you have to pay to read it the website that it also on does this daily and I refuse to give that crap website a single cent.

This is an amazing read and I'm surprised that I didn't find this gem until very recent. What I love the most about this novel is how the author manages to deliver an extremely complicated plot without making the reader overwhelmed. Despite the MC being op and almost always having a victorious outcome, it never bored me. Thank you for a job well done author sama and translator sama!

It was interesting but this novel like most novel is starting to get bad as it goes on.

An example would be,

1) Our seemingly a bit smarter than average MC hasn't an idea to coax Barry and Kitty to give him free kill or soul points when they return to earth and slaughter tons of space beasts. He could have easily earned a couple hundred million soul points atleast if he had just tricked them into giving him the last hit.

2) The overpowering trend of the important people around the MC in novels. We have learner that the MC's shifu had fused around 4 world's with the cultivation world, as such, she has cultivated to around 5 realms higher than the sainted realm and a level higher than the Cryptic realm. So, going by this logic and reasoning, the MC can stay on earth where he has fused 5 worlds with earth, and in less than a year (the same time frame where his shifu cultivated 5 levels), he should be able to catch up to his shifu, if not become a Lord Class combatant even without going into the tower. But the problem is that in the Suspended world, a world that has supposedly fused with dozens of world's, there is nobody that could cultivate above the Cryptic realm. As such, the Bai hua fairy should not have been able to cultivate to such a level with just 5 world's fused into one.

3) Not only that, MC's gf has gain too much power in too short of a time frame when the other person that has fused with the same system for several years hasn't gotten close her level.

I don't usually write a review. But because there's too much tr*sh review that's don't even read the story correctly. I need to write this review so this tr*sh who don't even read the story, read it before give a bad or good rating.

I really pity you who don't read this story because of the review. They the ones who give bad review, even now still read this novel. Why? Because this novel is as good as your golden pie who fall from the sky.

Then why they give a tr*sh... more>> review?

  1. The cliff really want to kill you. I assure you.
  2. There's many filler (1-4 chapter) so they skip it. But then they regret skipped this chapter because it's turn out the filler not a filler at all. It's a crucial information for the advance of plot and world building. I assure you that the information which is you neglected will become a crucial factor later in the story. The author really good at make a suspense.
  3. They are too lazy to change their review.
  4. And the one who said the world building is bad, the side character is unreal, the main character is a ret*rd, you should see how much chapter they already read. It's not even a quarter of the total chapter. You don't have any Rights to write a review. Don't even read a story and you already write a review? Kill yourself.
  5. And also I will give you a secret. Some of the one who give bad review are just want to release the pent up suspense they cumulated.
That's it. You should read the novel yourself to really understand what I mean.

But this time, please read the chapter thoroughly before give a rating or review. <<less

At some point, the disciple of one of the three strongest people on humanity's side says a mean word to MC's 8yo waifu. Our psychopatic MC decides to kill him, effectively weakening humanity as a whole and threatening his own life. Did I say anything about plot armor?

There are some CCP propaganda vibes. The MC's acts as an holier than thou, all perfect, chineese teen. He'll want, for example, to integrate an university, although he clearly doesn't need an education, and the apocalypse was garanteed to shut down his plans. But guess what? Going through university has social value. And the author wants to put the MC on a pedestal. I believe there was no more thinking into this...

The quality is the most irregular I've ever encountered, in the likes of a roller coaster.

Wasn't there an "underestimated protagonist" tag? If so, this novel should definitely get it. The number of times in which you'll see people (provocated by the MC) thinking him as a sponge, although they should know otherwise, is insane. <<less
