Everyone says that she's the least possible person to join the special forces. However, she manages to prove all of them wrong. &Lt;<< no one has said anything about her being unqualified, unless you count the grumblings of her roommates. Hence, she has yet to prove anyone wrong.

Is she a good-for-nothing when she can throw all of them onto the floor in a fight? Is she a good-for-nothing when she has results better than everyone else? &Lt;<< She has never fought more than one person and specialises in shooting and computer science -_-

The author created an "Empire" - a country in Europe which values royalty above all else yada-yada (no prizes for guessing where the ML is from). Just, WHY?! Couldn't they be content with just talking about the Chinese military. Sigh.

where she just got her man to bankrupt the family for her and that's it? That's the great revenge than happened and finished within 1 chapter

Foregoing Huo-something (the only fun character) being Thanos snapped, the fake-in*est siblings that seemed would-be-badass-big-roles, and the many irrelevant fillers and characters, the most underwhelming of all is the most anticipated tr*shing of the Yu family.

From the very beginning we get spoon fed with the idea that MC will get her revenge on the Yu family and joining the military is just the first step. Moreover there's repeated emphasis from both MC and ML themselves, that it would be up to MC to blow the Yu family up. Hence, I thought she has/would come up with a concrete plan to deal with them like a real independent woman who needs no man.

Like, perhaps she would get achievements and build connections with some influential people (aside from ML) while having some influence herself then she would catch on with the Yu's illegal activities (they did kidnap her and possess illegal substance that made her faint) allowing her to wreck them.

But far from that, she only thought to join the military and do her best there. For how she would exact revenge, she has not the slightest idea nor did she actually think of how. She only keeps muttering revenge, revenge, revenge, by herself. One day, somehow. She doesn't even know about business. Except verbal attacks, she's totally helpless against them alone. ML has to save and protect her everytime. After a long dragging, ML finally gives the idea to jump them while they're down. But again, she knows nada about business, so she relays it to her aunt Gu. Then with ML's hand in the background the Yu's company falls in the hands of aunt Gu.

he was exile to China for mu*dering his cousin. And all he had to do was apologize for killing his uncle's (illegitimate) son, but he refused. What?

there is this weird side plot about MC's roomate. It's an in*est (well.. Fake in*est, but reader won't find out until way later) plot. They even have a bed scene together. I was very confused as to why this was added because IT HAS NOTHING TO DO W THE PLOT/STORY!!! It also mention that the roommate is part of something serective, but like it literally goes no where. I was weird n don't like it for wasting my time and energy on a side plot that doesn'tcontribute to anything

Another really good thing about the novel is that FL is not OP from the start - for a long while she's actually totally helpless, even getting kidnapped by the Yu family, or being repeatedly targetted by them, or superiors at military school etc, she's unable to do anything, which is rather realistic. Most of the rebirth/revenge novels have FL immediately faceslapping as soon as she's reborn, but here you can actually see how she still suffers as merely being reborn doesn't magically make her invincible. Even though she does have a golden finger now - she's a powerful sniper and picks it up very quickly - it is not without struggle and hardwork.

eg when the yu family has her dad framed n jailed he immediately helps get him out but he doesn't act against the yu family, telling her she should deal with it herself

FL's friend in the Training arc, Bao'er who was SO ANNOYING, and honestly the only thing I didn't like about this novel. She really helps the FL a lot but.. You know those typical extroverts who try to 'adopt' introverts she's exactly like that.. Sticking her nose everywhere and never shutting up! But FL liked her, she was FL's 1st friend - thankfully she disappears at chp 142-ish and I hope she doesn't come back!!

FL was bullied in the school, that's why she was depressed. She was a very ordinary-looking girl, that did not put any effort to look better.

When she became skinnier and her hair style changed, she looked beautiful, she gained some confident and slowly her character changed. And when she felt in love, her inner happiness overflowed and she overcome her depression.

The MC discovered having a talent of a sharpshooter/ (something related with the brain ability) and that she joined that secret 9th division thing, that I actually expected she will go to missions and stuff that will use her super op ability to do all the things you usually do on a dangerous secret missions -

shooting competition that she practically wrecked because she's super op in that area and nobody could beat her.

when she was in the 9th division she only ever attended one official easy mission and another one which was a test to see her talents that end with her arm being seriously injured (but not serious enough to end her sharpshooting talent).

For real though who the hell goes to a dangerous mission to capture an equally dangerous criminal with only two people, one who is not trained, practically only stays on desk to order people around and do paper works and the other (which is the mc) who is only a student of a military academy and not fully trained, to faced a escaped dangerous criminal who is armed with a gun. Really though I feel the mcs' emotion when she was like 🙃wtf?, she was drag to do this mission and was given with only a gun with three bullets and a knife.

I would have liked the novel to go more into the shooting or her going on missions. Also more on the brain thing with its usage or power would have been nice

I'm on chapter 161 right now and there's literally no romance at all except a slightly longer glace than usual from the ML.
