Translation is good. But I'm sorry I can't say I like the story. Like another reviewer mentioned else, feels like an incomplete story rather than a one-shot.

Also all the themes of this story is quite problematic. Using guilt to force someone to date you albeit unintentional? Changing your entire person for someone you like?

I like this author's other work but def not this one

I think this story deserves a 4, if not then 3.5, I'll just pull up the ratings for now.

Personally, for a oneshot, this story definitely is lacking. But as it stands as a oneshot, I think having an open ending like that, is okay too. It's unsatisfying but it's definitely not incomplete.

Also, I just wanted to point out, I don't think ML is guilt tripping MC into dating him. There's not much plot, and story to back this up but from his personality and the situation, I think ML is genuinely just a naive fool who's been trapped in love with a person for years. Yes, it is hateful with the fact that he did that to himself just for another person, but that is also his choice. What I like about him though is that he knows his boundaries, he know how to step back after a line was distributed, but he also know how to step up when given the opportunity.

True, a person like this might not be suitable for most people, but there are always someone that can imperfectly perfect you. For an MC that is not soft hearted but knows how to give chances, maybe he can slowly change ML for the better; maybe they really are for each other, maybe not. But that's also why I think this is open ended. <<less

Hmm 5 stars to pull up ratings.

But actually, I don't have stars to give because it feels like chapter 1 of an unfinished story, rather than a complete oneshot. The premise is not too bad either so I'm unwilling to rate it low.
