for example, why her biological father killed her biological mother, it said because her father hated her mother but never explained why and because of what that her father hated her mother.
The most fleshed out character in my opinion was the side character, FL’s half sister (also the one who suffers the most >: () It started off good, couple of funny jokes and the FL seemed very cool but towards the middle, it kinda got dark in a sense where FL was just looking for revenge and plotting against her enemies. The most upsetting thing was the romance and the ML’s character. I found nothing special about the ML other than being a watered down version of the ML of Malicious empress with a military lineage (Xiao Jue? I think was his name) minus the whole secret identity. Only indication of romance blooming was a couple of blushes here and there and that’s it?! It’s not even explained.
It was a terribly fast ending. What pissed me off the most was the summary
The summary is legit the last chapter!!! AINT THE SUMMARY SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT THE WHOLE STORY?!
She is initially characterized as being a “fresh meat lover” and someone who has a lot of young guys, enjoys handsomeness but this type of personality is lost by the middle of the story once she finds out the identity of the prince which kinda makes sense but at the same time inconsistent. Her white lotus persona starts off really strong but goes away as the story progresses which also makes sense since by the end of the story she doesn’t need it.
But author give a 12 yrs old reborn, after transmigrated for a thousand years a golden finger background without any build up or explanation, it a bit ehhh??? For me, but still can be excepted for me. (Even the brainless villainess is only 11, and almost most notably characters are underage! Even mentioned the brother 7 yrs old love whoring?? The 2nd prince seducing an 11 yrs old?. Ok maybe it's ancient world they matured faster 🤷🏼♀️)
The FL is only 12, the 2nd miss is 11 and the 3rd miss is 8. But they all acted like adults doing adult stuff, especially the 2nd miss, the biatch of the story. Like she's 11 but already seducing the prince and the other 15 years old fellow. And the FL's brother is 7 but is already whoring and violently hurt sb, accdg to one of the conversation. The 3rd sister had an idea to seduce the 2nd prince to prevent the FL from marrying him. But 3rd sister is just 8! Sometimes I feel like the author has some pedo idea. It's a good story if you're bored and doesn't mind all the plotholes. The premise is good, but the execution is missing some details like who's the city lord, why does she know all these famous people, what about her psycho moments, and her 2 siblings might turn into ultimate villains someday, esp the youngest brother. I thought she's going to take responsibility for him after not killing him and saving him from bandits. But she just beat him up and threw him to someone else.
But dear me, her mom was pregnant with a boy then (god knows how they found it out, there's no ultrasound then). Why did dad kill at that time? Really, there's no explanation at all. What this novel lacks are additional details.
