diabeticstory! I'm really glad to find and read such fluffy BL short novel. Let's brief it out: a gentle, powerful and protective ML x an adorable, smart and cherishing MC — truly a match made in BL heaven! The story's pace was very natural and gentle; no angst or head-grinding strategies, so it was a wonderful, sweet very sweet quick read. The only tragedy is nobody picked up the last extras... But if they contained something unexpected or undesired, then I'm glad I couldn't read... more>>It's quite short so some details might not be logically reasonable but still a lot more believable than in most Chinese novels.
Just my take which could be dismissible.
MC is intelligent and scheming but pretends to be naive and innocent. He asks Dasheng's emperor to bestow marriage to the ML. ML at first is against the marriage but falls for MC after rescuing him and uncovering a conspiracy involving their two countries.
