The storyline gives off a strong feeling of an old man (200k+ years old) grooming scamming a child (500yrs) with promise of candy marriage. He then proceeds to keep her beside him for a period of time with vague and empty promises (of making her his queen) and then coaxes the kid to leave the country (heavens) and willingly walk into a trap (love tribulation in mortal world) when he saw that things might get troublesome for him in future... Well the kid was obviously heartbroken but then she found a boy who genuinely loved her and sacrificed his life to save her (during her tribulation). So she gave up her entire fortune (immortality) in exchange to make it up to him in his next life (she entered the cycle of mortal reincarnation to be with him).

Oh of course he made a biiiiiig sacrifice and willingly accepted a biiiiiig punishment (81 lashes) to help her exchange her fortunes to go with the boy... How kind of him, right?!

Then he regretted letting her go and ruining her immortality. So he forcefully brought her back from the last cycle to her ?first reincarnation, meddled with her life, tried to manipulate situations into ones that'd force her to cultivate, appeared before her again and again, be vague and let her fall in love with him again only to push her away yet again and get engaged to a 'real' godess who matched his high status...🖕🙂🖕

Then he stood by and did next to nothing as her master died and his fiancee's brother tried to r*pe her, mu*der her and finally ended up killing her senior brother (who died while protecting her). Then he slaps on a label of it's "All For Your Own Good!" and explain it all away~

Then there's a repeating cycle of him saying- It's heavens will/fate & I'm doing this all for your own good; and her replying "I don't believe in heaven's will & I'll walk my own path"... differing forms of this very same convo keeps popping up every other chapter for almost 40 chapters. fml

Then he pulls her into an illusion with the dude who saved her [ (the one she's repaying and entered the mortal reincarnation cycle for, but the one he fell for wasn't her but the her from the past (the flower demon version) & her memories of him were hazy after reincarnating again and again) ], just to prove to her that nothing's worth more than immortality. So she finally has had enough of his sh!t and said she'll forget him and goes away to save her senior brother (well he died but his soul was saved by magic water given by the fiancee's family to make up for the 'accident') who got trapped in a magical cave with a magical horse with magical fire that can reforge his body/soul by roasting em for 1000yrs. But then he gets all pissed off and possessive. She's obviously his so how can she hurt herself for others? Obviously only he can hurt her. So he goes on and r*pes her in a cave in the middle of nowhere (I'm exaggerating. It's somewhere near that magic cave). Then leaves her trapped inside to go meet his senior brother who's his fiancee's ?uncle-in-law (I'm not sure how they're related but he's the one who set up the engagement between them) and gets ?drugged/stalled while his good fiancee lowkey humiliates her for being a mistress and takes her out of the barrier and give her a magic potion and bogus instructions on how to deal with the magic horse in the magic cave her brother is stuck in... And of course she believes her and follows those bogus instructions and nearly get killed, while he magnanimously gave up his position, got beaten up and magically appeared at the right time to play the hero saving beauty and gain the magic horse blood that tied them together for eternity... Then they entered reincarnation TOGETHER!

But of course she wouldn't get to be the rich and powerful one in this life either. Of course it'll be him who's the cold rich and powerful CEO. Oh wait! Looks like the ex-fiancee godess also followed him as a rich girl admirer with matching status so now they can have the cliche dogblood 'rich CEO and his poor lover with evil rich cannonfodder fiancee' drama anew in yet another life. But hey they'll get to be together no matter what once she suffers another few years of abuse (in all their reincarnations... Of course it's only a few years/decades in a countless number of lifetimes. Of course she'll be happy about it... no, not because she has no choice because of the bond he created with the magic horse blood, it's definitely because the ML is soooo worth all her suffering🙂)... so I guess everything is now daijobu~ 🙂
