I just wanted to add a preemptive 5* rating because I love the FL and ML.

FL is genuinely one of the sweetest, most empathetic and genuine heroines. She's quite relatable in her internal dialogue too. Further, she has a nice quality early on of being able to look beyond the original story at least in part and evaluate the people she meets through her own observation. Not the smartest in the world, but she's such a nice kid it's hard to fault her. While she's sweet and forgiving, she rightfully voices her anger at unacceptable/disrespectful behaviour. Moderately so though. Definitely has soft spot for ML, but she already has a good impression of him. That soft spot for him gets more and more prominent over the story. You can tell she feels differently for ML because well into the story she still clearly voices boundaries to others.

ML actually has a good back story for why he is the way he is, what motivates him, and why he is falling in love with FL. He has a real personality and agency. He's a bit sneaky yes, but he's not ill-willed or someone who treats other people high-handedly for no reason. FL does not have to make him a better person, he wasn't a bad one to begin with and he self-reflects himself bc he's touched by how kind she is. He gets jealous but expresses it different than most MLs. Not the childish "she's mine" but instead a bit sulky bc he recognizes why others would like someone as good natured as FL.

One word, It's impeccable. Sure thier is a bit of misunderstanding here and there but, that what makes this story entertaining and sweet. The characters has chemistry and the best part is, the release of chapters are fast and translated well, thank you for the hars work and, try reading this and judge it for yourself.

I think it’s definitely enjoyable. It isn’t slow paced, but it wasn’t too fast either in my opinion. I really like it. The male lead is a very cunning guy, i’ll give him that. The female lead is always falling for his looks and believes every word he says so it can be a bit frustrating. But it isn’t to the point she doesn’t set boundaries and she allows him to cross boundaries willy nilly unless she’s perfectly fine with it

This book suffers from middle school level of writing.
MC gets super clunky and slow. She can't add 1 +1 and make it a 2. Especially about the legend that surrounds ML. The translator called a mystery reveal but nah, it's been an open book from the beginning.
MC's annoying brother had no purpose in the story. He repeated what we already knew, pissed off MC, and then... more>>

ML was the opposite of cruel. Like the boy can't harm an ant. I wished the author made him a bit evil so our WAY TOO RIGHTEOUS MC would have some reason to doubt him.
And then there is this issue, they had their first night very early on in the story but our MC just kept the boy sexless because of her conservative side, which was hella unnecessary and annoying.
Giving this a 1, 5 stars because somehow I managed to finish it. This means I stayed for the drama but I warn you there is much more enjoyable bad writing on this site than this one. <<less

I love them

thats it also I love how fast paced their relationship is and I thought this was gonna be a PG book turns out it was R15 so no circling around each other blushing with slight finger brushes and stuff. No actual smut though but it was inferred loved that

i hate the FLs brother though and how much FL just lets him do what he wants??? Like the ML has no defense against him because the FL does not open her mouth and warn him. She just apologizes... more>> and because of that ML will of course cave since he loves the FL. I hate that so much. Its also the cause of a lot of their issues <<less
