Yuri translations knows how to choose novels ♥️

This is a proof that a novel with 60+ chapters still feels so short. It is a slow-burn, but this one could be extended to hundreds of chapters. The story is short, so there are some minor details that are left behind. Nonetheless, it still a fun read.

Not much interaction with other characters. Her secret admirer that was introduced at the start as a supporting character was gradually forgotten and became a tool for the MC to recognize she's bent.

The female lead had to provoke her, and ask more really direct questions about the web of lies she spun around herself to get to the synopsis where she needed the boost to confess.

Their parents were not understanding but try not to interfere. As the chapter count increases, it moves from focusing on their social circles to only their family and then to themselves. Traces of huge fights between her parents just got forgotten.

Mostly the sweetness is from past memories when they were close friends. Compared to now, it's like lying, scheming and crushing on each other. My brain cells were exhausted from seeing them both being confident to playing the guessing game then plucked the courage and it's gone, withered by the time when they delay and became more insecure and stuff.

The side CP actually has crushes on both of them then they gradually distance themselves from the MC and female lead and eventually hook up. -_- So much that she didn't know until their social media sent a pic of them. So... that avoided more conflict about fighting like in a novel I've seen where the main CP pair became disgusted at the friend for attempting to confess but lost due to hidden admiration shit.

Somewhat of a reality slap but yet naive of having understanding parents from more than 1 pair.

The romance is slower than a snail, I'm not saying it's bad, it's good read

The problem for me is playing innocence for 27/28 years old characters is too much, if their setting was in early 20 or have an introverted personality then I won't be bothered, but anyway it worth to read
