Its pretty much alpha x omega in modern day where omegas are insanely rare, and the show is the omega but no one really knows about them except the village chief who protects his identity, so he suffers every month in heat. There is the gong alpha who also had his condition hidden until they found out probably because his father was an alpha so he got sent to military as they needed the strong people to war. Due to the lack of omegas, most alphas like never see an omega let alone have one as their pair.

The start of the relationship is veery questionable in consent wise and the alpha knows that it was awful to start a relationship but they do anyways.

Also omega Miao is a bit s*upid because of his heat and how he never went for education due to the conditions of the village, so people really pitied him.

Pretty sure the ending is where the gong chooses to accompany his shou in the military and he essentially goes back to work because they let him marry his brother when the omegas are usually assigned to like rich powerful people, fearing he would retaliate if they took his brother away.

There is also a side story where Miao Miao's brother never picked him up so he eventually got caught and met him in the military base.
