One star deduction for how predictable the format is. Perfect girl, and guy is just mediocre in every way. She has a fan club too (why in every story?)

One star deduction for frequei of releases, which I know sounds weird. And it's the first time it affected my rating.

Translations for TL's current projects are frequently released by TL which is great. Multiple times a week even, so TL is hard at work for sure. But not for this title. Not to be a "choosing beggar, " TL is free... more>> to translate how and what they want. But there is one chapter released a month which will result in the story taking more than five years to catch up to where the novel is now in Japanese (from 17 to 84 per NU). I do not read a story just because I want an ending, but a lifetime of reading manga and watching anime resulted in a dislike for stories that take forever for actual romance to happen.

So I will be dropping this (for the second time, I forgot at first why I dropped it about 6 months ago). <<less

Look, this novel is decent with fluffs and stuffs, but I gotta complain a bit about something that most JP romcoms overuse, which is the interrogation part at the start. I guess it's gonna be unusual that a normal guy is with the popular girl, but it's not like she belongs to any of them innit? If it seems like she's dating some guy, then it's up to her, and not their business. This isn't funny, it's kinda tiring tbh. Well, it's not anybody's fault, and it might just be that this novel isn't really what the translators like, or they might be really busy with irl stuffs, who knows. <<less

A dose of sugar with a tint of slice of life the perfect ingredients for desserts to eat when stressed out.

A typical novel with a bocchi boy that runs into the most beautiful girl in school... or not! I don't have anything against novels with these kind of themes since they have their own respective value but it's nice to read something else for a change.

MC isn't the lonely otaku most romcoms have... as every person has their own charms, so does he. Calm, tall, good at house work, smart.... more>> Who wouldn't like him?

lots of girls actually confessed to him but he rejected all of them which lead to rumors about him being homos*xual according to he's friend, renya at he's pov which led the MC to have he's mouth smiling while he's eyes weren't laughing at all turns out he's pretty scary when he's angry specially since it's rare for him to

FL isn't the selfish and naive type that despite MC didn't want to interact with her at school they still do the opposite like most FL in romcoms

In a way it was good for leisurely reading while lying in bed and being lazy... I think it's worth it despite being scolded by my mom for not cleaning my room, recomend! <<less

It's more of a slice of life novel so far. I like that we are getting friends for both MC and FL who are funny and interesting to read about. I also think that the 'end-game' of this novel is the revelation from both the MC and the FL that they like each other romantically. It's heartwarming and there is also a side couple who provide some nice contrast.

For almost 10 years now, MC and FL lived together, due to MC's family circumstances. Since high-school (or maybe even before that), MC has been taking care of FL domestically; cooking, cleaning, etc. It also seems like they grown-up really close together (they hold hands, do 'flirty' actions even though they don't see it as flirting). So from the outside it looks like an engaged couple who are not romantically intimated, yet still love each other.
