I was thoroughly enjoying this story until someone decided to harass the translator enough that they dropped it and deleted what they'd done so far. Very cool. If someone picks this back up I still recommend reading it.

I don't know why but I really like stories like this. It's just so lighthearted and sweet. I love the characters, plot and setting. I like how Miyo is getting what she deserves. Cute story. The feeling when you're up to date is sad. I swear I wait for the day it updates every week. I gib this a niceuniceuveryniceushizachan/5. Also I will not hesitate to shoot people who try to hurt Miyo. The Translation is great too. Bruh bruh bruh bruh bruh, I just read the latest chapter (C15),... more>> and I have never wanted to kill someone as much as I want to kill Kaya. So I read C16, someone kill Kaya for me please <<less

Usually, I write reviews after I've read it, but d*amn, this is sooooo good! The start of the story until the chapter when she cried in front of the ML is so touching. I can't breath because my tears can't stop falling until my pillow was wet. My hands can't stop clenching my shirt of being angry at her stepmother, stepsister and mostly at her father. I can't wait for the chapter when her ability be recognized and her family will be the one kneeling and asking for her especially... more>> her *s-o-b* father. I can't wait for her revenge if there is. "Even a hare will bite when it's cornered". For all the trauma, grievances, injustice, critisms, insult, mistreated they gave to her I hope our ML will torture before punishing them. And I hope our fragile MC will open her heart once again and realize her worth.

I thank the Author and the translators for making this wonderful novel. I'm enjoying this! Keep it up???? <<less

such a beautiful and sweet story so far! Very much a cinderella-esque meiji era fairy tale. I can sense FL will have some character development which will make the story even better!

And now I'm sad that I'm caught up to the chapters because I'm really invested in this story. I love seeing the characters learn about each other and become closer. It's very sweet the relationship between the FL and ML. And I have shed a few tears for the FL. Her past is really sad. I'm rooting for you!

Sh*t, I have to say. I love the story so much. It's so unique. Never seen a main character like her. So cute and her inferiority complex is sooooo sad.

More importantly, I am quite unhappy that the novel was dropped. The translation was really good. Though I'm really sorry to hear about the translator's circumstances. Furthermore, I hope someone pick up this lovely novel...~~

This story is simply gold. It's beautiful and sad but soo heartwarming reading how her life is changing

I just wish her happiness.

Koyoka and miyo are so precious. I care so much about these characters.

... more>> Actually I'm loving this story so much, I'd buy a paper version if there was one with such a beautiful cover. I'd love to own this book.

This story even got a manga with gorgeous art. I hope one day there will be an anime adaptation coming out. That would be like a dream.

Finished volume 1 and gosh, I love this?! Qwq it's so heartwarming to read how MC grows out of her shell into a beautiful little lady!

While there's still loose ends left to be solved in Vol 2, I'm already satisfied with the HE of Vol 1 qwq I'm not one for sequels/volumes

The concept is pretty special, I'd say! Though brushed over lightly, science and tech being favoured over ability-users made me think of when the role of samurais started to fade out in Japan. Author did a great job... more>> implementing this :>

MC and ML are so good together, and Yurie-san is the best! <<less

So satisfying- read it. I cried tears of happiness and sadness. I want to find something like this but I still can't since there's nothing up to par regarding my preferences. It's very meaningful and rewarding even in the latest chapters, much like a rollercoaster ride. ;U;
Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon is also the 1st novel that brought me to Novel Updates. Thank you sincerely, translator, for completing volume 1 until the very end.

Lovely, so beautiful😍 I absolutely love this story. Such a cute but still depressing at the same time. I realky thought this would be like most of japanese light novels but NOPE. I cried with the characters and I feel in love with both of the main character especially Yurie-san~

Okay, this story starts of with introduction to the female lead Miyo and how much she was hated in the family and si send to marry a 'scary' guy name Kiyoka. Such a simple story about this trauma Miyo has and... more>> how Kiyoka and Yurie are trying to help her.

Can't deny, Yurie is the MVP. She helps both Kiyoka and Miyo to take the first step of their relationship. Miyo's family is just tr*sh. Kaya... I'm hoping she never comes back. Just a spoiled brat. Kyoji... Honestly we never really know him aside from the fact that he is just Miyo's childhood friend.

Next, the plot. The plot is really simple and such an easy cosy book to read. My only problem with the story is that it felt really short as if it is written to get adapted to a manga series. I want more details please. I have no intention of lowering the rating just simply because I enjoy it so much. And don't expect any heavy plot here probably because I'm positive there is more to come and I'm praying it comes sooner🤭 <<less
