In extra, the parallel of their modern world was my favourite. In that world, our MC meets with ML when he was 18yrs old.

ML keeps on dreaming their lives in the novel MC transmigrate from when they were a child until they married.

In that parallel world, MC family was really good. ML lives across their house. After knowing that ML was an orphan and situation, MC family treats him well like family.

ML feels guilty because he has feeling for MC. At one time, MC father even wants to adopt ML in their family. MC mom gives suggestion to take him as their son-in-law.

MC was so afraid that her family will really adopt ML since they have been together. Actually MC family has been waiting for them to confess. LOL. In this world, I feel happy because ML could experience the family warmth from MC family since in novel world, MC dad is scum.

ML is too insecure. Insecurity is alright but it is to the point that he'd rather just possess her than tell the FL he likes her. Moreover, he was just really really cold to her in their youth. In stories like this, at least the FL should be bold but she too holds on and destroys a good part of the story. He doesn't need you for the company, then why the hell would he want to marry you? They have absolutely zero communication and looooots of issues which could be avoided. He just left for 3 years and suddenly came back expecting everything to be as it was and doesn't even tell her what he did during those years. For god's sake! The relationship almost turned toxic where he just possessed her and not be with her. His marriage proposal made me want to kill him. Some of the times, I just wanted to knock some sense into the twos heads. But without considering the problems in their relationship, the two were precious sweethearts that should be protected.

MC works as an artist and she drew a series on her and ML called Black and White without ML's knowledge. It started off as just her drawing out the days she had with him like a diary but eventually it turned into the journey of their love and her memories with him. From simple events in the Lu manor of their childhood to her dark, teen to young adult years when ML left without contact and eventually their reunion in their adult years. This series causes MC to realise that she probably fell in love with him as early as starting this comic but could only express it in this way due to her scum father's oppression. ML also realises that his "delusions" and "insignificant memories" of his time with MC are actually very meaningful to her thanks to this series.

ML does reveal, at the end, that he dreamt of his original end (su*cide at age 29) from the novel where MC was the ogMC, being cold and cruel to him and his life was horrific.

Heroine pretty much single-handedly destroyed the Zhao family (Hero's family) thanks to her schemes. She whispered insecurities into hero's ears during pillow talk of his younger brother usurping him and throwing him out of the family. She entraps and damaged the younger brother's health. After nearly killing MC's scum father, she commits su*cide which leads to Grandpa Zhao dying in a rage (from her mu*der attempt). Zhao parents eventually leave for abroad because Mother Zhao fell ill from all the stress.

the ML trying to be cold towards the FL although he loves and cares about her, and the FL who thinks that the ML hates her, which is understandable considering the ML's behavior.

For me the most frustrating part was when he saved her from the robber and visited her in the hospital without letting her know that he did this things for her, and the fact that her "brother" is trying to hide that from her is not helping at all!
