Do not read this. Seriously. Up to the beginning of chapter 8, this is a funny slice-of-life-y story about someone reincarnating into another gender and rejecting the harem fate (s) he was destined to face. There were hints of sexual themes, but it was more towards "mature comedy".

Then it got dark, very dark.

If that has you worried (and it should for a supposed "romantic comedy" like this), see my spoiler below.

Spoiler

The protagonist (a man reincarnated into a woman's body and who still likes women, I might add) is raped by the male lead. The MC does not enjoy this and feels violated. What's worse, the story then splits 50/50 between the MC and the rapist and even tries to rationalize the r*pe in various ways ("It was an accident, I was intoxicated, You led me on, etc). If that doesn't completely turn you off, as mentioned above, we are given his perspective, including the r*pe. You are then given incontrovertible evidence that the ML is proven to have willingly given into his desires.

The fact that the author then tries to continue using the slapstick/comedy that was used for the first 7 chapters is honestly the worst slap-in-the-face. I almost gagged from the whiplash of these tonal shifts. Seriously, WTF.

I can honestly say I cannot recommend this story to anyone. BL enthusiasts will be turned off by the very anti-Shojo tone of the story (even if you can stomach the rape). Romantic Comedy lovers will (obviously) hate the tone-shifts and even lovers of NTR/r*pe will be turned off by the cutesy/comedic tone and the transgender aspects which make everything super uncomfortable.

This author is a straight up psychopath. You can tell they are projecting their r*pe fantasies. I'm going to hide the rest of my review as a spoiler, based on why the Translator gave up after chapter 11.

Spoiler

As I mentioned before, this novel is a representation if the Author's r*pe fantasy. You can also tell the Author self-inserts as the Hero: Beta male who doesn't know how to properly interact with women, but given the opporitunity, will pounce and indulge his desire on them. The Priestess calls the Hero "Thick Headed" but it's more accurate to call him a Sociopath.

It all starts with this Berserker doping drug that's meant for combat purposes. Apparently, it is also abused for sexual pleasure. Every time this drug is mentioned, someone gets raped. Theres supposed to be a time limit for how long a person can be a Horny Berserker.

Context: the Hero doped himself in order to save the Priestess and escape a horde of demons. Once they found safe shelter, the Hero confesses he doped 3 times in a row. The Priestess figured that the best way to handle the Hero was to consent to his urges until it was out of his system. Contrary to her expectations, the Hero broke passed the limit and continued to abuse the Priestess until she passed out. The following day, she urges the Hero that the entire incident never happened. She does this in order to avoid the wrath of the Hero's harem, but for some reason I feel like this is something a real person would say to supress the trauma.

At some point the author changes the perspective and flashbacks to the raping. They go into great detail about how the Hero enjoyed defiling the Priestess on top of sex. The author even talks about the Hero getting an erection when he daydreams about the incudent.

The Hero feels guilty so he goes around looking for advice until he meets a shady innkeeper. This is the Hero's sociopath reveal: according to whatever advice he got, apparently the best solution is to tie up loose ends with a happy note. That being said, the Hero takes advantage about how the first r*pe "did not happen" because the Priestess and the Hero agreed to forgive and forget. He believes that if he shares their "first time" in a more wholesome manner, the Priestess would magically feel satisfied. But obviously, the Priestess hates this idea; not because she used to be a man, but she does not want to be defiled again.

Holy sh*t this is one f*cked up story.

Dude reincarnated as a girl and is clearly stated that he/she is still interested in women. Then one wonderful night when people are drugged he gets raped by his companion (hero). But since the hero feels so bad about it he decides to r*pe her again when they are sober. This starts a beautiful love story and here I am thinking that what the f*ck happened.

What I have learned from heroine: The idea of girl liking a girl is wrong and can be... more>> cured by giving her the D.

What I have learned from hero: It is okay to r*pe as long as the target is beautiful enough and one feels bad about it afterwards. <<less

My real rating would be 4. I just gonna put 5 to justified those low star rate.

The story is about Fio, the reincarnated japanese man into girl (Priest) in Hero party. While she retain his attitude man-like in this party, the story later involved romance between she and Hero.

Now I can see why people rate this low, the story itself taking hangover from slice of life R-15 to r*pe R-18 in single chapter (cp.8) make this sounds like those adult hentai novel. Those poor people who kind of anti-ero isekai... more>> would definitely quit reading this, I bet. I'm trying put adult tag in this novel, since there's definitely vague sex-scene in this novel (altho the genital doesnt really described, people would know already what that about, like "hard")

However as I am all eater-novel, I could say actually the progressed plot really good. The MC is sensible, while the Hero felt guilty about it (r*pe scene). Then incoming chapter is about how they overcome their mind and succumb to feeling and pleasure.

Spoiler

in chapter 17 itu seems both Hero and MC come into conclusion to accept each other, I must say congratulations.

About other aspect of this novel... Character is not really described or important, battle scene quite dull. In fact, this novel really slice of life up to chapter 8. Romance, quite okay as I said they progressed pretty well. World building? Hell not exist so far lmao.

I quite enjoy this novel since they doesnt take long time to realize their feeling. And for people who want fluffy isekai, you better avoid this novel. <<less

First of all, it has a r*pe scene. Just ONE. But, the protag was consent with it. She was the one who suggested it. Of course it was a little violent, but that's it.

I've finished reading this novel and trust me, it was really good.

Just keep reading and ignore the bad reviews.

It's the typical genderbent novel (Not a yuri one. I hate that shit). The MC is confused with her feelings, she got together with a male lead, bla bla and all that. After that r*pe scene, what comes next... more>> are fluff chapters.

Would've give this 5/5 if the translation were good. <<less

I read this to the end google translated. Yes I liked it. Yes it has its good and bad points. But most importantly, I am satisfied with the ending. I also wish to find more novels like this with this type of ending but it's rather obscure.

hm... after the check on raw all I can say most of this novel authors still focus story on R15 (Rom-com) only ch.8 that totally broke into R18 (only 1 chapter)

gonna say the r*pe screen are really too heavy.... it look like authors just want it to be turning point of both MC. but it broke down Rom-com atmosphere of novel and make it hard to continue read after... (im guess most of reader stop at ch.8) the hell man.. did you try too slap reader face for fun... more>> or something

However after that MC try to fix his mistakes... story now focus on how both of them try to clumsy develop reletionship as (s*upid) lover <<less

As far as translated c11, this is mature comedy series. It is not as dark as some other story around here. But for feminist it will probably offend a bit. Hero-kun thought are quite true for virgin guy though.

I like how MC really try to avoid the flag with hero. A priestess with that kind of quirk would be far away from hero strike zone without any outside circumstance.
Would love to read more of this.

Nonsensical garbage. Don't read it, it's not worth it.

Honestly, I'm generally alright with darker themes such as rape/torture, as long as it's not totally ridiculous. In this case, it's completely bonkers... the MC is particularly terrible, she's supposed to be enduring a gender-crisis and her sexual orientation is that of a lesbian. Yet, after what was obviously described to be a horrendous experience with the male lead (aka rape) she almost immediately catches feelings toward the male lead? There's multiple chapters written from her POV stating how the ML is... more>> terrible yada yada but as soon as she's in close proximity, she just... submits ridiculously. Which makes no sense whatsoever, her character is everywhere and her character isn't even the worst one here... the ML... oh the ML...I don't even know what he's supposed to be. The author has done a horrendous job at articulating his thoughts, he's completely rapey and this is being passed off as denseness throughout the novel. There's also way too many contradictions, one minute he's claiming he wants nothing more than to protect the MC then the next minute he's relishing in her suffering? Whilst raping her? Really?

Another contradiction worth mentioning is his claim to 'not love to MC', is soon followed with a statement 'that he loves MC' all within four or so chapters with no indication of any additional feelings forming. The story is chaotic and all over the place, supposedly a comedy... but not at all funny. Pre-chapter 8 is alright, bland as it gets but it had potential - which was obviously completely wasted.

In the case of poor translation, which could certainly send mixed messages - this novel still wouldn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. The events and actions of the characters are beyond logic. I wouldn't recommend this novel to anyone but the truest of masochists, it's literary garbage that I'd only wish upon my worst enemies.

Anyway, sorry for the lengthy rant. I'd give this novel a 0.5/5 <<less

Well I finish this with google translate

But anyway I understand the reason about the bad review. Honestly I'm quite shocked at first to. Because I like the MC and the gender bender tag so I try to look at the raw.

It's surprisingly good.
Spoiler

I really love how the MC end fall in love with the Hero XD

Honestly, I feel the people b*tching about the r*pe part are overreacting a bit. The story mainly focuses on comedy, and depictions of r*pe lasts only 2-3 chapters at most (even then it's not even that graphic).

(keep in mind I might be biased since I like the Horror genre and psychological drama)

The story isn't very groundbreaking or new as it is your typical reincarnation story. The characters all embody stereotypes and aren't that original, however, the story makes it work, and the author makes fun of the typical... more>> fantasy stereotypes and plays with it.

This isn't the best reincarnation story but, it is an enjoyable comedy if you can get past the offputting (for some people?) beginning.

this will be an enjoyable read for you if you are just looking to casually read a comedy. (Don't expect Oscar-winning writing from this genre.) <<less

I'm not going to be as pretentiouse as to shoot it down for a r*pe scene, but the MC's completely immersion destroying. He goes from man reincarnated as a loli living it up with the thief banging hookers to for some reason being ok with f*cking the hero who's basically a f*ck up who downed a couple bottles of vi*gra combat stims to save her from his own f*ck up as a party leader (while incidentally leaving the rest of the party to as far as I can tell die).... more>> Like really... really really. <<less

So this is a little spoilery.

So I pushed though it to see if there was any point to the dark r*pe fantasy the author put together, and by chapter 24 there is none. Fio (the MC) basically gets Stockholm syndrome and falls for the "hero" after being raped several times. She has completely lost herself as a character by this point to there being no purpose for the reincarnation hook on the story. That seems to exist purely to add the isekai tag to the novel.

I dislike the message. One thing for those who aren't sure about what to feel about what happened—consent can be given, and can also be taken away at any time. Also, having sex, not limited to "sex", without consent is called r*pe.

Another thing for those who says you were warned by the tag—I dislike the message. You are as entitled to like r*pe and give this novel a 5-star as I am to dislike its message and give this a 1-star.

This story is pretty solidly written and does honestly not deserve the negative feedback. Sadly the translation team had an unfortunate accident, because of that the series is on hold for quite a while.

It definitely deserves more than its current rating of 3 stars. Pretty cute and funny for a non-orthodox romantic comedy. Also not as dark as what people has been saying. Wanted to give 4 stars, but decided to settle on 5 because I want to balance the current rating.

Doesn't read well. I see a lot of people complaining about the r*pe content, in my case I couldn't get to that point. 2 chapters with nothing funny and wasted opportunity. If you can't get a laugh out of a guy reincarnated as a girl hanging out in the red light district, you need to try writing something besides comedy, maybe the weather report. The author also tried to eke comedy out the main character dying, another fail.

Bottom line: you can stay away from this one save yourself the 10... more>> minutes it will take to figure out this really bad, or you can waste 10 minutes you will never get back, read the first two chapters, and then remember the Japanese think trapping someone in a box full of bugs is high comedy and you are the one being trapped here. <<less

I’ll be blunt, the r*** scene isn’t really the worst part of the novel, it’s the fact that it seems to detour and kill the girl’s personality that makes it bad.

Don’t get me wrong, the writing is solid, but it has a dark undertone it has from c8 onwards it never seems to loose and that makes the story feel disgusting and grimy to read. It polluted most of the scenes and leaves things with a uncanny valley feel Even in the more light hearted segment of the story.

It was an okay read. The s*x scene wasn’t as bad as what other claim it to be. Compare to other smut novel, it doesn’t really go in depth and the whole thing is just describe as “this happen”. Some of the line was a little disturbing though so I guess that may have turn lots of people off.
