Since even the other review didn't go into detail regarding the synopsis, I'll add some points.

The protagonist is old. Basically a literal boomer who can't even use a PC properly or check his messages, let alone use social media.

And while it makes some sense given that he spent more time in his previous life than many other possession type protagonists, he doesn't let go of his old identity at all. Usually gender bending stories have at least some level of adjustment, but there's honestly no striking reason so far for... more>> why the body he possessed had to be female.

She has good looks, had a terrible personality, and that's it. He gets the memories as pure information, with no personality or identity attached, and basically breaks off all prior connections (and somewhat rekindling the relationship with her mother, because he's well beyond his rebellious age and can recognise her effort, even if she's basically a stranger to his actual identity).

While I may not belong to the latest generation, I do have some modern sensibilities which makes it hard for me to empathise with this MC. And to me the gender bending is an obstacle rather than a catalyst to the narrative. It reads as if it was written that way to be trendy, not because it's an important aspect of the story.

Add a poor translation that is most likely MTL on top of that (wrong names, pronouns, repeated passages, names with different translations between different chapters), and you end up with something that I can't recommend to people valuing their time. It's readable, but not good. <<less

Wow. That is a horrible synopsis, so I'll just do it myself.

Myeong-jeon is a famous guitarist that played with numerous famous bands across the world, but never had the talent or creativity to write his own songs– his music was "lacking in originality." After a life of partying and drinking, he finally realised at the end of his hollow existence: He hadn't been able to achieve the dream that started his journey of playing guitar– instead dying on some unknown street.

About a month later, a young highschool girl wakes up... more>> in a hospital after being in a coma.

Spoiler

This is one of those slow-paced novels where the MC has a vague goal of creating music again after rediscovering the joy of music. It's good if you like novels such as 'The Villainess lives as a Commoner' and sports an all-girls music band (OMG, JUST LIKE BOCCHI THE ROCK!!!)

The story is a TS slice of life with no romance with the MC being a Mary Sue type character in an all girl's band. The TL is sometimes confusing and misplaces names and pronouns, which make some paragraphs and chapters hard to understand.

I'll give it a 3.5/5. It isn't anything exceptional but it's not bad either. People who like this genre will have no complaints. Think of it as fast food.
