That's some third rate villain sh*t and I'm disappointed our MC kept doing it just to assuage his own, at times, vague feelings. I read to 110 and skipped to the end, don't feel like I missed much. Even in the end he was drugging the ML for his own convenience.
3 stars because there was a storyline, but the drugs and machinations to basically have the ML date r*ped by the "protagonist" disgusts me, even if Lou Sheng never succeeded.
He keeps erasing the ML’s memories left and right. Hurting the ML constantly with no care at all. Also no idea why the ML, that is a general, just consumes things without double checking the contents. At this point, it has become s*upid.
